Three days later, Jenny and Evan stood at the entrance of Bardoff Airport. After listening in to Evan’s conversations with others for the past few days, Jenny had already learned everything about the situation, but even so, she didn’t go back on her word and said she wouldn’t go abroad. Instead, she pretended to know nothing and still came to the airport with Evan.

However, it didn’t mean that she would really board the plane.

In the waiting lounge, half an hour before boarding, Evan wished fervently for time to pass quickly. Jenny remained indifferent, and Evan couldn’t tell any emotions from her face, making him uneasy.

“Jenny, don’t worry. Once we find Dr. Gaarder, I’ll cooperate with the treatment and try to recover as soon as possible, then we can return to the country,” Evan said.

Jenny smiled lightly at his words. “Evan, you still wont tell me the truth even now?” She always thought that Evan might not be so bad, and maybe he would come clean with her. But now, in half an hour, they would be on the plane, and everything would be too late. Jenny was done giving him chances- she couldn’t continue to play along anymore.

“Jenny…what do you mean?” Evan’s expression froze as he was taken aback, but it soon returned to normal. “Do you think I would deceive you?”
