Chapter 36

After buy her light meal she took a taxi back home, she needed to freshen up.

She got ready for the event, but to her horror the wasn’t any dress to wear. She took out every dress and everything in the closet, hoping to find something suitable for this event but still couldn’t find anything. This is the worst thing possible that could happen when going to an event, what made it even worse was the fact that Liam’s driver would arrive at any moment now.

Right then she heard the door bell ring, surely it was the driver and she was nowhere near to being done. Apart from dressing up she still needed to do her makeup. She decided not to embarrass Liam like this, hence she was not going to attend that event.

Now with that in mind she slowly stood up, and dragged her disappointed self downstairs. She was going to tell the driver to go back as she was no longer going. When she opened the door however, she found that the driver was holding a dress cover.

“Madame, Mr Jones have prepared this dress for you. He hopes that you will like it.”

She was elated by the fact that her husband was thoughtful, he had actually made a dress for her. This truly improved her mood as she already thought that she would no longer be attending.
