Zayla pondered over her father’s situation. Robin had a lot of cars so she didn’t think that he would refuse if she asked for any of them to be used to pick up her father to the party.

It was Robin’s request anyway, not hers.

“I will explain that to him so he can make an arrangement for the driver to pick you up,” she said over the line before her father thought about taking advantage of the situation again, asking,

“Okay. Tell him I need new clothes too.”

Looking at the time and knowing it was already getting late, Zayla thought to get the money for her father to buy the suit for the party today for him to wear tomorrow.

Or even if Robin gives her father the money today, the latter could make the purchase tomorrow before the party in the evening.
