Myra shrugged, not concerned about her father. “He can do whatever he likes. All I know is that handsome guy here is as strong as he is good-looking-who wouldn’t be interested after meeting him?”

That was when someone knocked on the door.

The Ghostly Six and Jada were immediately on alert, concerned that someone else had come to attack Myra.

However, Myra waved them off. “Calm down. It’s just the delivery man-I ordered takeout.”

She walked over to open the door, and it really was a delivery man.

Taking the lunchboxes and putting everything on the table, she chuckled at Jada and the Ghostly Six. “You guys are really paranoid. Just look at your chief—it’s like none of it affects him. That stoicism is what makes a leader.”
