Marika suddenly appeared as if she had aged from the vicissitudes of life, a far cry from her pompous attitude earlier.

It certainly made sense, now that her faith was crushed-she had already shown spine by not falling apart on the spot.

Frank shook his head. “Your gratitude isn’t necessary, but what are you going to do now?”

Marika shook her head. “I have yet to come up with anything, but I guess I’m going elsewhere to clear my mind. Would you mind exchanging contacts with me?”

“Of course not.”

After exchanging numbers, Frank and Marika parted ways, with Frank soon returning to the abandoned apartment construction site.
