“Are you saying that Mr. Frankton would stage an act over a woman?”

Jada had had enough and rolled up her sleeves, ready to beat up Troy. “Show some respect, or I’ll end you!”

Frank quickly stopped her-Troy was annoying, but he did not deserve to die yet.

Jada gritted her teeth and instead snapped, “If you suspect Mr. Frankton that much, then let’s square down-once he cures that patient later, you will go down on your knees and praise him!”

Clearly, being stopped from getting physical was not discouraging Jada from verbal abuse, though Troy simply snorted. “Just look at that pretty face. Anyone would think that you’re some elegant heiress, but you turn out to be more ignorant than some village bumpkin. It sickens me!”

“What was that?”

Even Laura had enough too-she had no idea if Jada was from a village, but she sure was.
