“Give me the bow…” He walked forward, made a grabbing motion, and the bow flew to his hand.

He wanted to ask Neela to hand the bow to him but thought it would be faster to get it himself.

After getting the bow, the guild leader stood at the window and pulled the bowstring.

He simply pulled the string without an arrow.
