As Philip stacked the planks at the door, several people suddenly rushed over. “Are you the one who beat up our buddies sent by Leopard?” Philip noticed that these people wore similar outfits and knew they must belong to the same gang as the three burly guys. He nodded and said, “Yes, that’s me!” Those people sneered at Philip and said, “Come with us, then!” After the man finished speaking, he grabbed Philip‘s arm. Philip wanted to fight them at first, but when he turned around, he saw Emily and the old man who just stepped out and suppressed the urge to do so. “Kid, you’d better behave, or I can’t guarantee what we’ll do!” Hearing that, Philip glanced at the man who spoke. “You don’t have to grab me. I can walk!” Philip said calmly and started walking. Emily had helped him before, so when he saw these people bullying Emily, Philip chose to help her. However, his action offended these people. Philip followed them and soon saw a place similar to an underground boxing arena. However, this place was much bigger than the underground boxing arena in the original world. On different rings, Philip saw people fighting in mechanical armor with loud banging sounds. Next to the stand, a bald man was sitting there drinking. Seeing the bald man, those people escorting Philip said, “Leopard, we brought him here!” Leopard just waved his hand at them casually. “Are you the one who beat my boys up?” Hearing that, Philip stepped forward and said, “Yes, I am!” “You have guts, huh?” Leopard took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and lit one.
“In that case, you can fight in the ring. As long as you survive, I’ll let you and Emily go.” Philip looked at the mechas still fighting in the ring. He jumped lightly onto the ring. “Do I have to operate a mecha too?” Philip thought that they wanted him to control the mecha to fight, but to his surprise, Leopard laughed and said, “Someone like you wants to operate a mecha? I want you to fight with these mechas and see who’s better!” With that said, Leopard waved his hand, and a light barrier slowly rose. Soon, the ring was covered by the barrier. Philip looked at the two mechas in front of him and said, “You want me to fight with these mechas, and as long as I survive, you won’t make things difficult for Emily anymore, right?” Leopard stood outside and said while smoking a cigarette, “Yes, as long as you can survive!” Philip chuckled and said, “Don’t go back on your words!” Only Emily knew that Philip could deal with those patrolling mechas with his bare hands. Leopard and his buddies knew that Philip had some skills, but not that he could deal with a mecha. They wanted him to fight the mechas and even turned on the protective barrier. They just wanted to see Philip being beaten to death by the mechas and make sure that he could not escape. However, to their surprise, as soon as Philip entered the ring, he launched a fierce attack on the two mechas! Even though they were being controlled by people, these huge mechas were not as quick as a human. For instance, in the blink of an eye, Philip had launched several attacks on these mechas!
