The Shears invited a crowd of powerful individuals and would be resented if their pills were not as effec tive as they claimed. Should that happen, not only would Cynthion Group come to an end, the Shears‘ r eputation would be on the ground as well.

“Whether the pills work or not is our business, and we don’t need you to worry about it!” Harvey said col dly. “Is that so? Let’s wait and see, then!” Jacob smirked viciously.

He did not believe that the pills could truly accelerate the progress of martial artists and since he decided that it was merely a marketing gim mick at best, all he needed to do was to sit back and wait for the Shear Family to embarrass themselve s.

Anson felt the same and was silently plotting to add fuel to the fire should the Shear siblings fail to fulfill the guests‘ expectations as revenge for what they did to him for Leon’s sake.

Harvey could not be bothered with Anson and Jacob and turned his attention to Iris and Leon. “Miss Yo ung, Mister Wolf, the opening ceremony will start soon. I’d like to invite you two to cut the ribbon. Will y ou do us the honor?”
