The room fell into a heavy silence.

Since Asher and Arnold broke up, everyone was deeply saddened by it. But everyone tried their best to avoid talking about Arnold or the whole breakup situation.

However, Bella had purposely proposed the second plan because she believed Arnold could help. In fact, he might even be the key to turning the situation around.

But where was Arnold now?

After his face was disfigured, he became consumed with deep hatred toward Asher and left without hesitation. Would he come back? Where could they find him?

“We’ll have to think of another way,” Ralph said, fully aware of Asher’s current emotional state. He shook his head, feeling disheartened.

“I’ll go look for him.” Asher closed his eyes briefly before opening them again, his gaze filled with a heartbreaking sadness. “I still have some old connections in Meridan. I’ll reach out to them and ask for their help in locating Arnold. I’ll do whatever it takes to find him, even if I have to skip meals and sleep. I’ll find him as fast as I can.”
