Chapter 1301-1310
The Day I Kissed An Older Man Chapter 1301-Corinneâs expression soured. âWho are you calling a pig?â Jeremy smirked. âWhoâs sitting on a swing chair?â No woman would be happy after being called a chubby pig, and the same went for Corinne. She might have gained some weight because of her pregnancy, but her arms and legs were still slender. It was only her face and belly that became rounder.
âYou should keep your mouth shut if you canât hold a conversation like a normal person. Otherwise, youâll run the risk of being cursed at.â Jeremy grinned when he saw how angry she was. âWhatâs wrong with being a little chubby pig? Itâs adorable.â
Corinne gritted her teeth and shot back unhappily, âWow, thanks for your compliment! Well, youâve seen me on the swing, right? Is there anything else you want from me? If thatâs all, Iâll be hanging up now.â Jeremy stroked his chin languidly. âYou should maintain this weight after giving birth.â Corinneâs anger had hit the roof. âWhat did I do to piss you off? Do you have to jinx it like that?â Jeremy sat up straight and got closer to the camera. âI like you this way. The chubbiness feels good to the touch.â âWhether or not my chubbiness feels good to the touch is none of your d*mn business! Youâre such a jerk!â Corinne frowned in anger.
Jeremy chuckled in a low voice. âOkay, I wonât tease you anymore. Make sure not to stay in the sun for too long. Head back into the house when it gets hot.â âYouâre not the boss of me!â Corinne shot back. âI can stay in the sun for as long as I want!â Jeremy frowned and pretended to be serious. âAnd become a roast pig?â Corinne gritted her teeth unhappily. âI swear, if you call me a pig again, Iâllââ Jeremy did not let himself get too carried away. His gaze softened, and he said in a persuading tone, âOkay, okay. Youâre not a pig, and youâre not fat. Your figure right now is perfect. You were too thin in the past, like you could come crashing down if the wind was a little too strong. I like it when you have a little meat. It makes you look adorable.â âWhy is he talking to me like that? Iâm not a child! Iâve already made myself very clear in the car yesterday! Why canât he take the hint? Does he have to keep making all these cheeky statements?â Corinne scrunched her nose in annoyance.
She felt that she was blushing, so she did not look at the camera as she did not want Jeremy to notice anything. Jeremy remained silent for quite some time, too. âI suppose I can end the call now if he has nothing else to say?â Corinne looked at the screen and saw that Jeremy was no longer there. The cell phone was still placed on the desk, and it was facing his empty office chair.
âWhere is he? Why didnât he say anything if he wanted to leave? He couldâve just ended the call then! What a weirdo.â Corinne was prepared to end the call when she remembered his threat from the previous night. He had warned her that he would burn the painting if she hung up.
She soon hesitated as she did not want to take a chance with her motherâs painting. After thinking about it, she decided to put the phone to one side instead of hanging up.
