Chapter 6259
Everyone on this scientific research vessel was exceptional. Matsushita Heiyoshi, for example, had earned degrees in navigation technology, marine electronics, and electrical engineering. His understanding of complex information systems was thorough, making him the ideal person for Charlie’s plan.
Charlie’s request was straightforward: remove the transport vehicle’s closed communication module, install a set of Starlink equipment, and transmit all data to a specified server. For Matsushita Heiyoshi, this was a task that required only minor adjustments.
When the fuel transport truck arrived, Heiyoshi took advantage of the two-hour transfer process to disperse the staff and complete the modifications in under an hour.
The vehicle’s GPS system was designed to be foolproof. The moment it powered on, it began acquiring satellite coordinates and updating its interface five times per second. Any onboard device needing GPS data could access it directly. The driving recorder captured the route in its black box, the navigation system displayed coordinates on the map, and background monitoring equipment sent data to the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology via satellite.
However, with the original communication module removed, the ministry couldn’t access real-time coordinates.
Charlie instructed Heiyoshi to use Starlink to upload all data directly to the designated transfer server, which would feed it into his AI model. The truck’s driving recorder, 360-degree surround cameras, and cockpit video feed were all connected to the system, allowing real-time transmission of everything onboard.
