With sixty-four hand seals in total, his reiki growth rate more than doubled.

Even though he had only six pills left, Charlie still hoped for another aurora sighting. Unfortunately, warm currents from the North Atlantic caused temperatures across Northern Europe to rise quickly, melting the snow. Helena explained that this warm current signaled the end of the long winter.

And with winter ending, auroras in the northern hemisphere would also fade. To see them again, he’d need to wait until winter returned at the end of the year.

Without the aurora, there was no reason to remain in Northern Europe.

Still, Charlie sensed that if the mysterious substance within him truly held the Great Tathagata Mahavatha hand seal, then the power behind it implied the sixty-four hand seals he’d learned were only the beginning.
