Chapter 6161
After Charlie and Claire arrived in Eastcliff, they checked into the hotel next to the National Stadium.
With the concert approaching, the hotel was fully booked, and the two had to wait nearly half an hour to check in.
Once settled in, they found themselves with some free time, so Claire suggested they go for a walk in the center of Eastcliff. Having a background in art and design, Claire admired the courtyard houses within the Second Ring Road and was eager to shop with Charlie.
Charlie gladly agreed, unaware that Claire simply wanted to visit the area where he had lived as a child.
As they wandered through the alleys of the Second Ring Road, Claire snapped numerous photos and eagerly pulled Charlie into many of them, with the backdrop looking particularly charming.
When they reached Heathbrook, although there was still ice on the water’s surface, the edges had begun to melt. Claire expressed some regret, saying, “I’ve always wanted to try traditional ice boating in the north, but I’ve never had the chance. Charlie, have you ever done it?”
Charlie shook his head. “I haven’t tried it, but if you want to experience it, we could come back early next year instead of waiting for spring.”
