Damien shakes his head and gets to his feet. He looks at me and shakes his head. “I can’t do this anymore.” He turns to Eris, “I, Damien Black, Beta of Black Shadow, reject you, Eris Neoma of Nightfall Pack as my mate.” He spits the words “No.” she stands her ground. If she was hurting, she wasn’t showing it.
