Chapter 7673 - The Promise Holy Envoy

Following the sound, James and Thea turned to see a vast mass of black gas surging toward them from the far end of the light channel. It rolled forward like a storm cloud descending on a city, radiating a suffocating sense of dread.

A sinister laugh echoed through the channel as the dark gas coalesced into the shape of a towering man in a black robe. His face was obscured, yet the oppressive energy surrounding him seemed to devour the light itself.

He stood only two or three light-years away, but the dark aura around him was so dense it distorted the air between them.

“A pack of insolent fools,” the man thundered, his voice reverberating through the void. “You dared to offend the master of the Haleth Realm and the Acquired Great Dao? Such audacity deserves nothing less than annihilation.”

As he spoke, he stretched out his hand. The black gas at his palm surged outward, twisting into hundreds of spinning, planet-like orbs of darkness that shot toward the mysterious warriors surrounding James and Thea.

Each dark planet loomed above a kneeling warrior’s head, their rotation distorting the light and crushing the air around them.

“Holy Envoy, have mercy!” one of the warriors cried desperately. “We didn’t know they were from the Afterlife Great Dao! They never even used its light—ah!”
