“This is easily the dumbest and most complicated discussion I’ve ever heard.” Leegaain stepped in uninvited. “Symbolism, astronomy, and sibling rivalry—all rolled into one. I love it.”

“Glad you’re entertained.” Lith shot him a flat look. “Got anything useful to add?”

“Ral carries my blood. He’s part Dragon.” The Guardian thought for a moment. “Our life force resembles a constellation. Why not that?”

“It would work—if it didn’t diminish Ely.” Lith shook his head. “It’s basically saying her brother is part of something grand and interconnected, while she stands alone.”
