Chapter 4183 – Magic Word (Part 2)
The Horseman answered with her signature tier-five Light Mastery spell, Daybreak.
It was a fusion of light, fire, and darkness magic. A wave of dark energy surged outward from Dawn, while a swarm of fiery, serpent-shaped constructs poured from her body.
The darkness weakened both the target and their spells, sealing off physical and mystical senses alike. At the same time, the hard-light constructs spread across the room, moving to trap Protector.
They would paralyze him. Burn him. And once the darkness closed in, any defense he raised would be torn apart.
Worse still, whenever two constructs collided, they fused into something stronger—spawning new ones in the process. Left unchecked, they would merge into a miniature sun, sealing both the darkness and the Skoll within its core.
At the same time, Dawn channeled light into her crystal shield, using it as a framework to build a dense protective barrier around herself. The prism’s countless facets refracted and amplified her energy, boosting the durability of every construct several times over.
“So that’s what she meant…” Nalrond muttered, staring at the shield with envy despite knowing it wasn’t an artifact and lacked a power core. “That’s how you bypass the delay between conjuring and solidifying a construct.”
