“Believe me, I noticed.” Lith replied, his gaze lingering on her chest.

“Pervert.” She giggled softly. “What I mean is that I feel strange about myself, and I’m worried about what’s coming next. Your birthday is around the corner, and I’ll have to attend a gala looking like this.”

She took a shaky breath before continuing.

“Then Ral will probably be born soon after, and I’ll have to attend another gala while dealing with the depression that comes from losing my powers again. After that it’s Elysia’s birthday, which means yet another gala.”
