My footsteps echoed swiftly down the grand hall as I hurried towards the Packhouse’s drawing room. The omega followed behind me in haste, trying to match my footsteps.

My heart raced with a mix of annoyance and unease – The Alpha of the Crimsonbane Pack had arrived unannounced. I don’t even know what he is doing here.

I gritted my teeth as anger coursed through me. Why does he even have to come here?! He doesn’t even have any business with the Silvermoon Pack.

If he came here to ruin things for me, I swear I’m going to kill him.

“How long has he been with him?” I demanded in irritation without stopping on my tracks.
