Chapter 76: Is This Really Necessary?
After leaving Rose’s room, Evan took his cellphone. He stood near the glass window, looking at the outside garden as he made a call.

“I need you here! Can you come here?” There was worry in Evan’s voice that made Doris Stearns panic on the other end.

“Evan, what happened? Did something happen to Rose?”

“Hmm! Something happened to her chest. When I hug her, she feels so much pain. So…”

“Bring her to the hospital. I will ask the director to check her. I can’t fly there at the moment. I have surgery scheduled for this noon….” Doris Stearns feels sorry because she can’t help this young man today. Didn’t hear Evan’s response. Make her concerned. “Evan… are you still there?”
