Ch. 901..905: Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies Chapter 901-905
Chapter 901
When she arrived at the hospital, Anne got out of the car and ran toward the hospital.
“Hey, you haven’t paid!” The driver ran after her and grabbed her by the arm. “Miss. You’ve forgotten to pay.‘
She came to and realized that she had left her phone and purse in the office.
“Say, you can’t possibly be trying to ride for free, right?” The driver questioned while studying the dazed look on her face.
“I’m sorry. I forgot to take my wallet out…”
“What? Seriously? No way. I don’t care. Call your family here to pay. I am not working for free!” The driver refused to let her leave.
“I…I don’t have a family. My parents are both dead…” She muttered with tears in her eyes. “Mister, can you give me your address? I will deliver the money over to you later.”
“Forget it!” The driver left with frustration.
Anne stood like a statue outside the hospital door. Without money, she could not proceed with the abortion, so she sat down on the stairs blankly, everything before her eyes blurred through the tears.
A few cars stopped outside the hospital and the passer–by on the streets instantly stopped to watch.
Anthony got out of the Rolls Loyce and walked toward Anne.
Anne did not look up and remained expressionless.
Running out of patience, he bent down to lift Anne up, before walking back toward the car.
“Let me go! I don’t want to go back!” She kicked her legs in the air, but was still taken to the car by force.
As soon as she was inside the car, she tore at the car door. “Let me out! Let me out! I’m getting rid of this child! I don’t want it!”
Anthony pulled her into his arms roughly and stared into her eyes coldly. “I told you that without my permission, there’s not one hospital here in Luton that would dare to perform an abortion on you!”
She sobbed in despair, “I don’t want this…”
Anthony coaxed gently, “Be a good girl and give birth to it, and I will let you go.”
She froze and looked at him dazedly. “Really? No. You are lying to me. I don’t believe it…”
Of course, Anthony was lying to her. He was never going to let her go, but knew better than to tell her the truth.” I’m serious.”
“Let me go now,” Anne blurted out hastily.
“No way.”
“I hate you, Anthony Marwood! You are the devil!” Anne- struggled to open the car door.
He grabbed her hands and pinned them down, before grabbing her by the back of her neck and claiming her lips forcefully.
“Umph!” Devastated at how helpless she was, she punched at Anthony, but it felt nothing more than a scratch to Anthony.
Her chest heaved as she saw stars, before losing consciousness.
Sensing that she had stopped fighting, he let her go and noticed that she had passed out. “You will never get to leave. You are mine right from the start, even if you don’t want to be.”
He took Anne back to the mansion and set her down on the bed gently.
Anne was still not showing any sign of waking up, but did not appear to be ill.
He sat by the bed to watch over her when his phone started vibrating.
He took it out and glanced at the display, before walking outside to answer the call. “What is it?”
“Mr. Marwood, we found out who has spoken to Bianca in the Authentic Clinic. It was Lilian,” Ivan said.
Anthony narrowed his eyes dangerously.
Chapter 902
“I’ve sent the photos to you, but you didn’t reply, so I decided to call you.”
Anthony did not hang up and opened his screen to open Ivan’s message that contained a few photos, captured out of surveillance footage.
Lilian walked into the Authentic Clinic for a facial treatment and went to Bianca’s room on her way out.
However, merely the fact that Lilian had made contact with Bianca with no other supporting evidence would be dismissed as visiting a friend by Lilian even if Anthony was to interrogate her.
“Keep an eye on her. Do not let a single movement escape your attention!”
“Yes!”
“Also, this woman is trained in this. Don’t let her notice that she is being followed.”
“Yes, sir!”
After hanging up, Anthony’s expression darkened as he thought, ‘Is this related to Tommy in any way?‘
He returned to the bedroom and sat down by the bed to stare at Anne, who was asleep. “Once we find out what happened, you won’t be in so much pain.”
Ever since Bianca was told that her engagement with Anthony was no longer in place, she remained in her room without a care of her appearance, overcome by shock.
Dorothy fussed over her and urged, “You can’t just give up! Anthony must have said that because he was confused. He’s always been protective over you. You know that. He’s probably regretting his actions by now and he might be waiting for you to find him!”
“How could he do this to me? He called off the engagement. If other people find out about this, they are all going to laugh at me! How can I ever go out there again?” Bianca sat in front of the dressing table and stared at her reflection in the mirror. “What’s the point of looking beautiful? Everyone is laughing at me in secret! Especially Anne! She must be really happy with herself right now!”
“He might have called off the engagement, but that’s between the two of you and no one else knows about it. You still stand a chance! If you give up right now, who’s going to benefit the most?”
“Anne…”
“That’s right! Remember, Anne is mentally sick right now. It’s not going to end well for her if her condition worsens,” Dorothy reminded her.
Remembering the maid she had ordered to drug Anne, Bianca immediately grabbed Dorothy’s hands. “Ask her to increase the dose! I want Anne dead now!”
“I don’t need you to tell me that. I’ve already informed Mia. She will do it.”
Bianca widened her eyes hysterically. “That’s right. Once she dies, Anthony will take me back.”
Dorothy studied her expression worriedly. Her daughter had been raised like a princess and she could not allow someone like Anne to destroy Bianca.
Anne must die.
Anne sat on the bed at night while Anthony fed her dinner, but she refused to continue eating after a while.
“Just a bit more. You are eating for two now.” Anthony moved the fork closer.
“I said I don’t want any!” Anne shoved his hand away and the piece of meat on the fork fell onto the bed.
Anthony paused and her heart sank as she wondered if he would yell at her, would he hit her or even kill her?
“Alright, then.” Anthony told the servants to take the plates away and after noticing the frightened look on Anne’s face, he consoled, “It’s fine. You can eat again when you are hungry.”
She stared at him and asked, “did you kill my parents?”
He frowned. “Think with your head. Would I really kill them?”
Anne could not comprehend the situation that she was in. The more she thought about it, the more confused she became and she did not understand what went wrong.
She lifted the blanket to get out of bed, but instantly collapsed on the ground.
Anthony caught her in time. “Don’t move around…”
“Go away…ugh!” Anne shoved him away and fell back onto the ground.
“Damn it!” He lifted her off the ground. “Did you hurt yourself?”
Chapter 903
Kathryn hurried over to check on Anne and though Anne had lost consciousness, she was not physically harmed in any way.
“She is unstable because she’s pregnant. You need to let her do what she wants,” Kathryn said.
“Let her do what she wants? She wants to get rid of the baby! She wants to leave!” He roared in a dark expression.
The bodyguard had told him that she ran after seeing the triplets.
“Anything but those two things, then. You have to be patient.”
He tensed, because he had been patient and kept his temper at bay, but was that not enough?
Anthony waved his hand in annoyance and Kathryn went outside.
He stared at Anne’s slim face and decided that though he could not accept her leaving or getting rid of the child, he could accept any of her other wishes.
The next morning, Anne woke up early in Anthony’s arms. She got up and tried to get out of bed, when
Anthony wrapped his arm around her waist. “Where are you going?”
“To work.” She moved the arm around her waist away, but he immediately pinned her down. “Um…”
Anthony’s shadow loomed over her. “Let’s go outside. today.”
“…Where to?”
“Anywhere. I have nothing else to do,” he said.
Anne did not understand why Anthony would want to go out and wondered if it was because of her.
She did not know, and could not resist. Anthony had always been forceful, so she knew that she could only obey.
They left at ten in the morning to go outside for lunch.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Anthony began to order, but Anne could not seem to shake the irritation she felt inside.
All the noises in the restaurant were magnified and pierced through her brain.
“You don’t feel well?” He asked.
“…So noisy…”
Anthony turned and scanned the other tables, instantly feeling annoyed by the other customers.
The waiter next to them thought, ‘Is it noisy? I don’t think so. Everyone is being rather quiet even when they are chatting or laughing. This is a high–end restaurant, after all. They all know how to behave.‘
“Clear the restaurant. I’ll pay for all of their bills,‘ Anthony commanded.
The waiter bowed respectfully. “Right away, Mr.Marwood.”
་་
He proceeded to talk to the other customers and cleared the restaurant, leaving only Anne and Anthony sitting by their table.
“Better?” Anthony handed the menu to the waiter and asked.
Anne nodded hesitantly.
“Anywhere you want to go after this?”
Anne stared at the empty restaurant blankly.
“I’ll arrange something, then.”
“No…” Anne instinctively rejected it.
The waiter came over to serve the food, before leaving.
“Let’s eat first,” Anthony said while observing her expression.
Anne had never been able to eat much, but the table was still filled by dishes of different cuisines.
“There’s too much. I can’t finish these,” she said.
“Just leave it if you can’t finish them,” Anthony said.
Anne proceeded to eat without another word. She knew what was wrong with herself, but like Kathryn had said, she was mentally ill. Anne knew better than anyone that she was ill because of Anthony’s relentless control over her.
Chapter 904
If Anne wanted to recover, she had to leave Anthony. She could not stay by his side and had his baby.
She was not mentally ill, and she had human rights. All the hurt Anthony caused her began to magnify in her heart, on the verge of exploding…
When Anne walked out of the restaurant, she thought the sunlight was extremely piercing, and she felt very uncomfortable when it shone on her body.
“I want to go back…” Anne turned around and got into the car.
Anthony was afraid she would be in a bad mood, so he compromised and took her back to the mansion.
As soon as Anne got home, she went upstairs. However, just as she stepped on the first step of the stairs, she felt her body lighten and was carried by someone.
Yet, Anne did not react.
Anthony placed her on the bed, saying, “Take a nap. I’ll be here with you.”
“Get out…” Anne’s voice was soft, only loud enough for Anthony to hear it.
His face slightly darkened, but he restrained his emotions and said, “Lie down properly.”
After Anne lay down, Anthony tucked her in and left the room.
Once the door was shut, Anthony radiated an extremely gloomy aura, terrifying the passing servants.
Anthony returned to the study, sitting on the black chair with a gloomy face and thinking everything would be fine after the baby was born.
There was a knock on the door, and the housekeeper said from outside, “Mr. Marwood, you have a guest…”
The guest was none other than Ron, who was not a stranger and also someone who knew this place well. After all, he gave Sarah this mansion when they divorced. However, he never expected when he revisited this place, Sarah would not be here anymore.
“Who told you to leave the graveyard?” Anthony was aloof.
Being treated like an enemy by his own son, Ron appeared a little awkward. “I’m here to visit.”
“If you want to see her, you can go to hell.”
Ron became furious. “Anthony, no matter what, I’m still your father! How can you say that to me? Since you hate her so much, what are you doing here? I think you’re for Anne, right?!”
Anthony stared at Ron coldly. “That’s still not an excuse for you to be here!”
“Actually, I didn’t want to come. I went to the hospital for a physical examination and met Kathryn, so I asked her a few things. Anne is pregnant? Why did you make her pregnant again?” Ron was angry. “Did you hurt her?”
“So what? Are you here to defend her?” Anthony was unapologetic. “Save it!”
“No matter what, she called me Uncle for so many years before! She’s also the mother of my grandchildren. Anthony, you can’t do this. Anne is already so pitiful, and her parents are not around anymore. Anthony, you’re just going to ruin her!”
||
“That’s my business, and it has nothing to do with you!” Anthony turned and left, ordering the bodyguards,‘ Throw him out!”
The bodyguards walked up to Ron, looking menacing and frightening.
Ron was a little frightened, and he stepped back and said, “Anthony, don’t do something you’ll regret. Let Anne go!
Anthony walked away without looking back, disappearing from Ron’s sight.
“I’ll leave by myself. You don’t have to chase me away!” Ron was annoyed.
When Ron looked up, he saw a figure standing by the rail on the second floor. He did not know how long Anne had been standing there, but he could tell that her face was pale even from such a distance.
Did Anne hear their conversation just now?
Anne returned to the bedroom quietly. Then, she lay down on the bed again, staring blankly in the direction of the balcony.
Even someone like Ron could see the problem, but Anthony could not.
That kind of ruthlessness and paranoia sent chills down her spine.
Anne felt scared even when she was already curling up into a ball.
No. She must leave. She had to leave this place as soon as she could. Otherwise, Anthony would kill her.
She would die.
Surely…
In order to be able to leave the mansion and go to the company, Anne tried her best to behave normally and obediently ate half a bowl of pasta for dinner.
Anthony had been keeping an eye on her mood, thinking she seemed to be getting better after her nap.
Anne put down her fork and said, “I’ll go to the company tomorrow.”
Chapter 905
“Didn’t you say you want to rest? The company will always be there,” Anthony said, “the most important thing for you now is to take good care of your body.”
“I need to find something to do, or else I’ll be overthinking.” Anne looked for a reason.
“You’ll go in the morning and rest in the afternoon.” Anthony compromised.
“Okay,” Anne agreed.
As long as she could go out and have personal space, she could think of a way to escape.
There was nothing for her to miss here anymore.
As for the triplets, they were better off with Anthony.
After escaping, she would abort her baby so she did not need to mother Anthony’s child.
Anne slept much more peacefully at night with a plan in place.
Before this, she would have nightmares even in her sleep.
Anthony looked at Anne as she slept peacefully in his arms. As long as she was obedient, he would still allow her to do such a small thing as going to the company.
The Rolls Loyce drove Anne to the company in the morning. When she got out of the car, she said, “I’ll go up by myself. You don’t need to get out of the car.”
Anthony watched Anne get out of the car and walk to the building. Then, he ordered the bodyguards, “Keep an eye on her. If something goes wrong, you know the consequences.”
Just as Anne got out of the elevator, she noticed someone was also exiting the next elevator.
They were Anthony’s bodyguards.
She was not surprised at all. Anthony would never give her complete freedom!
However, Anthony would probably not doubt that she would run away.
After all, Anne did not have her identification card or passport with her.
Anne thought that since Luton was so big, she would not be so easily found if she hid in the suburbs or the countryside where there was no surveillance.
Hence, she would hide first and then borrow someone else’s identification card and passport. That way, she would definitely be able to escape Anthony’s claws!
Anne never thought that she would be able to escape successfully on the first day. She had to find a chance to keep the bodyguards from noticing anything. Otherwise, she would be caught before she even ran to the road.
The following morning, Anne’s female assistant went to the office to talk to Anne about work.
Anne was absent–minded, looking at the female assistant’s uniform from time to time. Suddenly, she thought of an idea, and her heart beat faster.
When the female assistant left, Anne grabbed her and said, “Do me a favor.”
“Ms. Vallois?”
“Let’s switch our outfits. I want to go out, and don’t tell anyone. Now!”
The female assistant looked at the closed door, took off her sweater, and changed clothes with Anne.
While getting dressed, Anne added, “After I leave, just lie on the ground and pretend to be knocked unconscious. That way, no one will blame you.”
The female assistant persuaded, “Ms. Vallois, this is not a good idea, right? Why are you running away?”
“Do you really want me to knock you unconscious with something?” Anne asked.
The female assistant stopped talking. She was afraid of the pain. What if Anne accidentally smashed her so hard that she ended up in a persistent vegetative state?
After Anne had changed her clothes, she asked the female assistant to lie on the floor. Then, she walked to the door, took a few deep breaths, and opened the door.
With the documents in her hands, Anne lowered her head and went out.
The bodyguard outside the door did not see her face clearly, only noticing the assistant’s uniform.
Anne restrained the anxiousness in her heart and walked toward the elevator.
After pressing the button, the elevator came up from the first floor, moving slowly like a snail.
Hurry up…hurry up…
When the elevator door finally opened, the bodyguards still had yet to notice something was wrong.
Anne calmed her emotions and entered the elevator, feeling exhausted.
She pressed the button anxiously, not stopping until the elevator doors closed.
Over there, the female assistant got up from the ground, ran to open the office door, and panicked, “Hurry! The one who went out just now is to Ms. Vallois!”
The bodyguards‘ faces changed, and they immediately realized what was happening. Then, one hurried to the elevator and the other to the emergency escape route.
