Chapter 706
After Sarah saw the result, she cried with joy, “I knew I wasn’t wrong. You’re Nigel’s daughter, and Nigel can’t be wrong…”
Dorothy’s face was ashen, and when she saw Bianca entering the room with the same uneasy expression, she knew everything was over.

After Anne comforted her mother, she walked up to Anthony and showed him the DNA paternity test result. “This is the correct result. I want to look into the last DNA paternity test and the so–called witnesses.”

Anthony looked at the result and asked calmly, “Are you doubting me?”

Anthony looked at the doctor and asked, “What do you have to say for yourself? Still the same words as before?”
The doctor was so frightened that his legs became weak. “I–I–I must’ve made a mistake…*
“Come here.” Anthony adjusted his sitting position and leaned forward slightly, waving the male doctor to come closer.
The male doctor seemed as if he was about to say something as he stepped forward tremblingly.
He bowed slightly, but Anthony was still dissatisfied. “Come closer.”
The male doctor bowed even deeper. Then, he felt his collar tighten, and his face was slammed to the ground.
Bang-
“Ah! Ouch!” The male doctor screamed and groaned in pain.
The male doctor lay on the ground and turned over, showing his bloody face and crooked nose.
It was so brutal.
Anne and Kathryn both backed away.
No one in the room was not taken aback by Anthony’s brutality, especially the guilt–ridden. Dorothy and Bianca.
“Who told you to talk nonsense?” Anthony rested his elbows on his thighs, looking at the male doctor from above with a horrifying sense of oppression. “Tell me, and I’ll spare your life.”
“…I–It was that woman. She came to me and paid me…” The male doctor mumbled, pointing at Dorothy, begging for mercy, “I’m sorry. Please forgive me……”

Bianca walked to Anthony in a panic and explained, “Anthony, that was not what happened. I didn’t know this at all. I was angry and sad when I learned that Anne wasn’t my real sister on the DNA paternity test. She shouldn’t have lied to all of us and disappointed us. Of course, I was mostly angry because no one wanted their feelings to be played with. But I can swear that I never did this kind of thing! Anthony, you have to trust me!”
Anne watched as Bianca pretended to explain anxiously, and she asked calmly, “Are you doing this for Dad’s property?”
“As I said, I didn’t know anything!” Bianca glared at Anne furiously.
“Whether you were really unaware or secretly manipulating it, only you know best.” Anne would never believe Bianca’s argument. “Every time you did something bad, you’d always act this way. I’ve seen enough.”
“You…” Bianca stopped arguing with Anne and looked at Anthony. “Anthony, you know best what kind of person I am. You have to trust me.”
“Go back and reflect on yourself!” Anthony said with a cold face and got up. Then, he ordered, “Kathryn, find out who did it.”
“Yes, Mr. Marwood.”
After that, Anthony walked out of the ward without looking back.
“Anthony!” No matter how Bianca shouted, he did not look back. Then, Bianca turned around and glared viciously at Anne before quickly chasing after Anthony.
Since Bianca had left, Dorothy naturally would not stay. When she passed by Anne, she said in an aggressive tone and looked as if she wanted to start a fight, “So what if I did it? Sarah pushed her away. “Stay away from us!”

“Impossible!” Dorothy shrieked, “Anthony will never break up with my Bianca. He loves her so much!”
“Really?” Sarah smiled brightly. “I noticed that Anthony’s ring is missing. He didn’t lose it, right?”
Dorothy froze. Anthony’s ring? She did pay attention to it.
Nonetheless, Dorothy would not let Sarah get the upper hand. “Who said he lost the ring? Anthony took the ring off and dropped it there when he took a shower at Bianca’s. I know about this, and their relationship is so good. Just make sure your little b*tch doesn’t seduce him!”
After that, she walked away proudly.
Kathryn apologized to Sarah and Anne again, “I’m really sorry. I’ll definitely find out who pulled tricks in the hospital.”
“Fortunately, we investigated the truth. Otherwise, Anne and I would have suffered so much grievance.” Sarah became angry at the mention of this.

“Does it mean Anthony doesn’t care much about Bianca as much anymore?” Sarah hoped SO.
Why should Dorothy and Bianca get what they wanted? How could they be so brazen as to use the DNA paternity test to wrong them?
However, Anne did not think so. Besides, they could not influence Anthony’s mind that way.
“Let’s see Dad.” Anne headed to the ward.
Sarah’s mood sank.
They stood by the bed and felt more and more awful as they looked at the unconscious Nigel.

“I was really hoping that the fight just now would make Dad have some sort of reaction…” Anne became teary. “I knew I was his daughter. The feeling of wanting to be close to him is not fake.”
“He’ll wake up. He surely will,” Sarah said, “but shouldn’t you be managing his company now? Anne, do well. I’ll look after Dad.”
“When Dad wakes up, I’ll return the company and other property to him,” Anne said.
She did not want those things, and she just wanted her father to wake up.
“Mom, you haven’t eaten yet, right? I’ll buy you some food.”
“After the crazy incident, I’m starving,” Sarah said.
“We still need to eat.”
Anne went out to buy Sarah food and called Robert to talk about visiting the company.
Robert said he would bring Anne to the company the next day.
Before Nigel’s accident, Anne had never been to the company because of Dorothy and Bianca, and she knew to avoid arousing suspicion.
The next morning, Anne went to the hospital to visit Nigel. “Dad, I’m going to work at the company for the first time today, and I’m a little nervous. Can you give me some words of encouragement?”

Anne followed Robert to the company.

Anne looked around Nigel’s office and found that he still had unfinished work on the table.

There was a knock on the office door, and a man came in. Then, Robert introduced, “This is Mr. Faye’s assistant, Ken Winston. Mr. Faye recruited him when he returned to Luton. If it’s inconvenient for you, you can hire another female assistant. It’s fine, as the workload is getting heavier, and Mr. Faye intends to hire another assistant.”
“I’ll think about it.” Anne was not familiar with anything yet, so it was better for her to understand the company’s core first.
“Okay. Mr. Winston knows most about Mr. Faye’s company, so you can ask him…”
Anne tried to familiarize herself with the company all morning, and she was only done when it was almost lunchtime. Then, she went straight to the hospital and had lunch with
Sarah in the ward.
“Why didn’t you treat your employees to lunch? You should foster a good relationship with them so they won’t be too hard on you.” Sarah taught her.
“Treating them to lunch on my first day would seem too intentional, but I happened to learn that the sales department has performed well recently, and I’ll use this reason to treat everyone to a meal later,” Anne said.

Anne hesitated and looked at Sarah, saying, “I’m going out for a while.”
Sarah did not like Tommy very much, but she reluctantly agreed since her daughter said so.
Anne was willing to grab a bite with Tommy because she had something to ask him. “Can you help me check something?”
“So, you’re not here to eat with me, but you want something from me,” Tommy said.
“Are you willing to help?” Anne asked, “If you aren’t, I’m going back.”

Anne thought, “I’m obviously threatening you!”
“What do you want me to check?” Tommy felt as if he was getting addicted to the chase.
“I don’t know what to look for, but I have a feeling that something must’ve happened to my dad before the car accident. Everything seems strange,” Anne said.
Nigel was in good health, yet he made a will and had a car accident.
Why?
“What benefits am I getting from this?” Tommy asked.
Anne frowned at him. “What do you want? Money?”
“Do you think I’m short of money?” Tommy wanted to ask her if she was dumb.
“Then what benefits do you want?” Anne did not want to get involved with him in anything other than money.
“I haven’t thought about it yet, but remember, you owe me a favor, and you can’t refuse when it’s time to pay me back.”
“What if you ask me to do something immoral? Do I have to agree too?” Anne felt that she was at a disadvantage.
“Don’t worry. Everything I ask you to do is within your reach.”
Bianca stayed at home, not in the mood to work. On the other hand, Dorothy was like a cat on a hot tin roof.
They did not even have the appetite for lunch.
“I heard Anne went to the company to take over your dad’s job. Don’t worry. I know people in the company, and I’ll have them get in her way!” Dorothy was burning with rage.
Bianca did not answer but just stared at the coffee in her hand in a daze.
