Ch. 601..605: Powerful Papa with Triplet Babies Chapter 601-605

Chapter 601

The triplets looked at their gifts and glanced at Bianca.

They knew that she was going to be their father's wife and that they had to be polite with her, but they simply did

not like her.

Knowing better than to let it show on their faces, the triplets said in unison, "Thank you, Aunty."

"You're welcome," Bianca said with a smile. She realized that she might have overthought everything, the triplets

were still toddlers and could easily sway when gifts were involved.

Chloe held her doll up and said reluctantly, "I was wrong the last time. I shouldn't have drawn on the piano."

"Like your Papa had said, he will just buy me another one. He buys me whatever I want and there's no other

woman who can get that kind of treatment," Bianca gloated.

"Papa must really like you, then,” Chloe said.

Bianca smiled gently. "Yeah. I'm really happy."

"It's no wonder Papa didn't let Mama stay here with US this morning, then," Chris said.

The smile on Bianca's face froze in an instant as she questioned, "...What? This morning?"

"Chris is wrong. Mama came last night and left today at noon!" Chloe corrected him.

"Mama stayed the night with us!" Charlie added.

Bianca narrowed her eyes viciously as she tried to suppress her anger.

'Anne was here and stayed the night!' She thought. 'Who does she think she is? Anthony is definitely going to brush it off by saying that she's here to see the children, but I know Anne. She is definitely using the kids as an excuse to get closer to Anthony! That wh*re!"

"Aunty, your face looks so scary..." Chloe held onto her doll in fear.

Bianca forced a smile. "No, I don't look scary. By the way, what else did your mom do when she came over last night?"

"Nothing much! Mama came to see US, then talked to Papa before leaving!" Charlie said.

"Talked? About what?" Bianca asked.

"We don't know. They talked in Papa's room. We couldn't hearthem!" Chloe shook her head and said innocently.

Bianca's expression darkened as she thought to herself, 'What kind of talk requires them to talk in the bedroom?!' She stood up and saw stars. 'Anne Vallois...why do you have to do this to me? Why won't you leave me alone?!

I wish I could just tear you into pieces!' 1

Bianca looked at Chloe, who was a spitting image of Anne. If Chloe was so good at getting adults to like her, she would definitely grow up to be as good at seducing men as her mother.

Bianca desperately wished that she could tear the young girl apart and had to do everything in her power to keep

her hands in place.

Terrified of Anthony, she turned and went to the bathroom to calm herself before she spiraled out of control.

She stared at the twisted face and boiling resentment in her eyes through her reflection.

'It's all because of that b*tch Anne!' She thought.

After a while, she finally regained her composure as she had the time.

She was still engaged to Anthony, but they had yet to get married, so anything she did could potentially risk him

canceling the engagement.

Bianca had come to a decision.

Anne promised to visit the children, so she went to the Royal Mansion in the afternoon and accidentally ran into

Bianca, who was on her way out. Bianca slowly approached her arrogantly. "You sure are committed to be here

two days in a row."

Anne stared at her warily. "I'm just here to see the kids."

Chapter 602

"And that requires you to talk to Anthony in his room?" Bianca questioned darkly.

Anne had not imagined Bianca to know that she had been in Anthony's room as Anthony surely would not tell

Bianca about it.

She suspected if it was Hayden for a moment, but immediately denied it as Hayden was smart enough to know

what he should talk about, or he would not be the head butler of the Royal Mansion.

"Anne, I won't get mad now. Once everything is set and done, you will learn what it means to cross me!"

"What are you going to do?" Anne scowled and glared at her.

Bianca sneered in contempt, and left without answering her question.

'When all is set and done, huh?' Anne thought as she stared at the car disappearing into the distance. She knew

what it meant to cross Bianca, as Bianca was capable of the most vicious act, but Anne had no choice if she

wanted to see her children.

She took a deep breath to suppress the fear she felt within. As a mother, she had to protect her children and if Bianca harmed them in any way, Anne was determined to make her pay even if Anthony tried to intervene.

Anne went inside and the triplets immediately abandoned their toys to run toward her, shouting excitedly all the way.

"Mama, the bad woman just left. Did you see her?" Chloe asked.

Anne sighed and tugged Chloe's hair behind her ear, before patting Chris and Charlie on the head. “You shouldn't be so rude, okay?"

'Mama is saying the same thing as Papa../ Chloe pouted.

'Anthony must have been quite tolerant to the kids if that's all he said,' Anne thought, 'considering how much he cares for Bianca.'

"This proves to you that you really shouldn't call Bianca that/ Anne said.

Though Anne resented Bianca as well, the children were destined to live with Bianca since Bianca was going to marry Anthony. She had to ensure that they could co-exist even on the surface, or Bianca might be provoked into doing something horrible.

"But we don't like her!" Charlie shouted.

'I know," Anne said guiltily, "she's your Papa's future wife and the mistress of this household. You have to be polite toward her."

"That’s why we accepted whatever she bought for us! We didn't act like we hated them," Chris said reluctantly.

Anne smiled with resignation. nThat's right. You are still young and I don't want any harm to come to you, do you understand?"

Chloe wrapped her arms around Anne's neck gloomily."... Alright."

Both Charlie and Chris looked upset as well.

"Alright, don’t be upset. Mama will come here often to stay with you," she consoled her children. "Why don't you

tell me something fun?"

Chloe lifted her chin immediately. "It's been really fun! The bad- Bianca bought us gifts and kept saying how much

Papa loves her and that he would buy her anything she wants. After that, we told her that Mama went to Papa's

room! She looked so angry!"

"Yeah! She looked like a witch!" Charlie agreed excitedly.

’../ Anne looked at them with resignation.

It was no wonder that Bianca found out, so it was the children who told her about it.

Anne taught them to not say such things to others and to listen to their father, or she might not be able to visit

again.

The triplets nodded frantically in agreement.

Anne's body recovered and the triplets began living in the Royal Mansion without any issue, having too much time

in her hands, Anne decided to head back to Marwood Group to work.

Chapter 603

Xander welcomed her with open arms. "A plane crash is counted as a work injury, so we managed to put it under

your hospitalization leaves. I'm glad to see you back."

’...’ She looked at him dazedly.

It was off enough for her to be paid for her time away, but it was ridiculous that they described her injury as a work

injury.

Naturally, she did not object as there was no reason for her to do so. Anthony was the one who caused everything,

so she would simply consider it a compensation from him.

Sarah was not pleased when she heard that Anne had gone back to work, and lectured Anne for over an hour

when she went over to Sarah's house for dinner.

"I was going to stay the night here, but I might have to go home if you keep that up," Anne said.

Sarah bit her tongue and said, "Alright, alright. I won't say any more. I wonder who you got that temper from."

Anne stared at her pointedly.

"Not me. I'm not stubborn like you. Your Dad isn't like that either."

"Then I guess I was just an orphan you picked up off the street." Anne sat on the couch and leaned against the cushion.

Sarah chuckled, "It's not bad to pick up an orphan that looks so much like me." She pulled at Anne's arm. "When are you taking the kids here to visit me? I want to play with them."

Anne's expression darkened. "I will need to check with Anthony about that."

She did not know if Anthony would allow that if she mentioned that her father wanted to see the children.

'Am I to stay away from the children if he never allows me to?" Sarah said hopelessly.

i'll try my best..."

"By the way, why did Anthony agree to let you see them all of a sudden?"

"The kids bothered him until he ran out of options."

Sarah came to a realization. "If the kids keep on asking to see their grandma, would that work?"

"Do you take Anthony for a fool?"

"Damn him. I just hate him so much!" Sarah said in frustration.

"It's fine. Let's take it slow for the kids' sake. We can only compromise..." Anne had already given up.

Sarah had no other options. She could recklessly try to get closer to the children, but then she would risk scaring

the children.

Thankfully, Anne seemed a lot calmer than she was before, though she was surely still concerned under the

surface.

When Bianca officially became Mrs. Marwood and the children's stepmother, the children would have to spend

days and nights with their vicious step-mother and step-grandmother.

Her blood running cold from the thought, Sarah turned around to look at Anne who slummed on the couch, a bold

thought forming in her mind." Anne..."

Anne turned around and saw the hesitant look on Sarah's face. "What?" "Have you ever thought about...replacing

Bianca and marrying Anthony?"

Chapter 604

Anne was so startled by the question that she dropped the pillow in her hand. "What did you say?”

Sarah held Anne's shoulders down lest she would fall off the couch in shock at her next sentence. ’Just think about

it... If Anthony marries you, you can stay with the children forever, forming a complete family. Don't you agree?"

Anne did not know how Sarah came up with such an unrealistic idea. It was simply ridiculous! Marrying someone

as terrifying as Anthony was just like jumping into a living hell!

"Anthony will never do that.”

’So, it all depends on you!" Sarah taught her, then asked, "When was the last time Anthony touched you?"

Anne instantly appeared uncomfortable.

"You have to tell me everything now. Otherwise, how can we solve the problem? Just by relying on you sulking all

day? You can only do so much alone anyway!" Sarah was anxious for her.

"Well, it was just that day..."

"When exactly was it?"

"...When I looked for the children two days ago..." It was hard for Anne to admit it.

"Alright, I got it," Sarah interrupted, "This shows a severe problem-Anthony is interested in you! Whether he likes you or your body, that's an advantage! You can seize this and snatch Anthony back!"

Anne had never thought of that. After all, she wanted to run away from Anthony as far as possible, the farther, the better.

"I know you're afraid of him, and Anthony doesn't want to marry you, but as long as one party changes, won't things turn around? It's like marriage, one has to be the domineering one and the other submissive, otherwise, the marriage won't last!" Sarah said, personally experiencing it before.

Anne frowned. She thought that...this was unacceptable. Anne had been afraid of Anthony since she was a child, and he had traumatized her from underage until adulthood. Hence, marrying him now would only mean she could never get away from him, and they would forever be tied together with a dead knot!

"Are you listening? I'm telling the truth!" Sarah advised, "Do you really want Bianca to look after the triplets? What if they end up being wasters? They're only two years old now, so what if they forget you in the future? Don't say it's impossible. Once Bianca marries Anthony, do you think Anthony will care much about the children's emotions? If Bianca gives birth to his child, it'll become worse! Fighting for the family property is another fierce battle!"

Anne was getting more and more flustered by what her mother said. It was as if the future was filled with negativity. 1

"If you marry Anthony, these problems will be gone. Besides being ruthless, we must admit that Anthony is an ambitious man, and his business is only growing daily. Can't you imagine how respectable you'll be as Mrs.

Marwood?"

Anne frowned. "I don't care about that."

"I know you don't, but someone does! If someone cares about it, they'll kill for their own benefit!’ Sarah told Anne

about the stakes.

"I..." Anne sat up and hugged the pillow tightly. Her mind was a mess, and she did not know if she should 'snatch'

Anthony away. This was completely against her true emotions!

"Anne, even if you're not doing it for your own sake, what about the kids? Don't you care about them?" Sarah gave

her the final blow, knowing that the children were Anne's weakness and that she could trade her life for them.

However, the thought of spending the rest of her life with Anthony made Anne’s scalp go numb.

Sarah grabbed Anne's arm, turning Anne over to face her. "When Anthony and Bianca get their marriage

certificate, it'll be too late for you to do anything! Listen to me and fight for it. This will affect the fate of the three

children!"

"Aren't you being too dramatic?"

"How's that dramatic? Don't you know what kind of people Dorothy and Bianca are? Look at your own life. If I told

your dad I was pregnant with you, would your destiny still be like this? Sometimes, it only takes one wrong step to

lead to your ruin!"

Sarah felt melancholy thinking about the past because her one mistake implicated her daughter.

Chapter 605

Anne remained quiet.

Sarah was right, and Anne knew well how her life was-aggrieved, exhausted, and tortured.

Did she really want her children to be like her in the future?

Thankfully, Cheyenne treated her very well, just like her own daughter.

Yet, what about Bianca? Even though she was the children's aunt by blood, she acted just like an enemy.

When Anne went to bed at night, she tossed and turned, finding it hard to fall asleep.

She asked herself, did she really want her children to call Bianca their Mama?

A voice in her head told her, "No! Don't! Absolutely not! That's my child!"

As Anne did not sleep well the night before, she appeared to be in a low mood the next day at work, and her

colleagues showed concern.

"Anne, what's wrong? What did you do last night?"

’You looked like you've done something tiring."

"Duh. She's obviously tired!"

"How's that possible? What made her so exhausted? That's impossible!"

"You're not married, so you know nothing! I have nieces and nephews, so I can understand. It's hard to look after children as they're just so full of energy!"

"But Mr. Marwood is so wealthy, so don’t they have nannies?"

After the last female colleague shouted, the department fell silent.

Anne sat still, dumbfounded.

The news of her children actually reached the Marwood Group!

Then again, Damian knew about it. Hence, this was not surprising.

The sudden plot change from being Tommy's girlfriend to giving birth to Anthony's children out of wedlock seemed even more ridiculous than the TV series.

Anne presumed that her colleagues had been holding back for a few days, and they could not resist talking about it anymore...

"By the way, who's buying our coffee for lunch?" One of Anne's colleagues changed the subject in a hurry.

"I'll go!’ All the remaining colleagues raised their hands.

Then, the colleague asked Anne, "Anne, what do you want to drink? Let me buy you a cup of sweetened one!"

Anne smiled awkwardly. "Sure, thanks."

"You're welcome!" Then, the female colleague carefully added, "Anne, don't take it to heart. No matter what, we'll support you. After all, we don't have the chance to give birth to Mr. Marwood's children! Seriously, it's the first time I've seen a real-life Cinderella story like yours!"

"Stop it..." The colleague next to her pushed her.

Anne laughed wryly. Could she not see that she did not want to talk about this?

Xander walked in, and the curious colleagues returned to their seats. Finally, the suffocating pressure of being

surrounded disappeared, and Anne breathed a sigh of relief.

"Don't you know what time it is now? If your workload is too light, I'll arrange more for you." Xander's eyes swept

across the room, and none of them were spared.

At noon, Anthony and Bianca ate in a fine-dining restaurant.

Bianca glanced at the domineering man opposite her and said, "The kids loved the things I bought. Of course, you

can also tell me what they prefer, and I'll cater to that."

"You don't have to trouble yourself," Anthony replied.

"Why would it be troublesome? I'm also planning to bring the kids out when you're free."

"I'll arrange a time for it."

"Okay." Bianca smiled brightly. After taking a sip of red wine and putting down the glass, she had other thoughts.

Anthony, I'm thinking...since you have three children now, and I'm also your fiancee, why don't we get married

earlier? It's better for the children too."

Anthony stopped eating and looked at Bianca.
