Then, she turned around to open the door.
Before she could even reach the doorknob, her arm was grabbed by Anthony. Her vision swiveled, and she was pinned onto the door.
Her body was pressed against Anthony’s strong and buff body.
Anne’s facial expression changed, and her breathing was uneven. “Anthony, please get this straight. We are no longer like before!”
“I know.” Anthony’s gesture was dominant, but his gaze was so earnest, as though it would drip out anytime. “I will let you go back to the room, but the kids outside are probably not too far away. If you walk out that way, they would be sad.”
As soon as Anne heard that, she paused.

Therefore, that woman was not as important.
In other words, that was probably just a woman that Anthony slept with.
After all, Anthony had to take into consideration the kids’ feelings if she could come to the Royal Mansion.
If Anthony treated the kids well, Anne would be grateful. She could choose not to backtrack on their history.
Soon, she fell asleep.

“You can all stay home today and not go to school, to keep your mother company. We can go anywhere you want. Or pick a time, we will go into the ocean,” Anthony said.
“Yay!”
“I want to go into the ocean!”
“I don’t want to go to school!”
Anne said, “Next time please!”
“Why?” The three kids pouted in protest.
“Mama has something to do, I will only go after I settle it,” Anne said.
“Are you leaving?” Charlie asked.
“Mama don’t go!”
“We don’t let mama go!”
The kids then circled around their mother and refused to eat.
Anne patted their little heads and said, “I have my own things to settle…”
“Are things more important than us?”

Anthony took out his phone in the car. He did not even read the message but deleted it right away.
He then called Oliver to remind him, “Please help to handle Lucia.”

Lucia waited at home from the morning until noon. The dining table was full of the dishes she cooked.

She had always cooked every time Anthony visited.
