All she heard was the pitter-patter of the rain on the umbrella.

Ashlynn could not hold it in anymore. She turned around and went into the mansion.
She threw the umbrella on the ground.
Then, she went upstairs with her mind distracted. She ran into the room to grab her phone and called Corentin. “Are…you back yet? How long till you arrive home?”
“Did something happen?”
Ashlynn swallowed her saliva nervously. “Come back quick…”
About ten minutes later, a Bintley drove into the mansion. The subordinate went to open the car door with an umbrella in hand. When they heard the sound of the car engine outside, Ashlynn was pinned by Alexis on the couch to have the biscuits.
Ashlynn was completely distracted.
