“Alex, I think I have something on Enzo,” Aiden said. It sounded like the best news Alex had heard tonight. A yawn escaped him as his body began to give in to exhaustion.

“Tell me about it.”

Aiden brought a document to him and did not hesitate to explain the details. “Remember when twenty of your men wanted to resign due to the influx of some dons who were offering outrageous payments and living conditions?”

Alex remembered clearly that those dons were involved in shady businesses such as murder, extortion, corruption of public officials, gambling, infiltration of legitimate businesses, labor racketeering, loan sharking, tax fraud schemes, and stock manipulation schemes.

Their end was well predicted by him, but some of his men were not patient enough to see the downfall, being greedy about working for such dons.
