Chapter 166: Chapter 166 – Yes, I love her, so please help me find her
The sleep cleared from Alex’s face as if it had never been there before as he looked to his left and right for the woman he had spent the night with.
She was still his wife since the divorce was not finalized, but Grandpa’s words pricked him hard.
“Grandpa, what are you talking about?” Alex asked worriedly. The old man responded casually,
“Logan sent me a message, telling me that the marriage was indeed fake because you divorced Adelaide. I already knew it was faked, but I thought you would come to your senses to truly make her your wife.”
Alex had been searching for Logan for some time now, but this showed that the fool was still spying on him and also still had eyes on his wife.
“How could he know about that? We signed the papers, but I changed my mind, and besides, it’s not official,” he answered on the phone before racking his mind.
Could Logan have hacked Joanna’s phone? Alex knew the only person Joanna would tell was either Violet, and he had either of their contact numbers.
He must have been intercepting their phone conversations.
He looked around and seeing the signed divorce agreement with Joanna’s ring, his heart sank. Joanna had not heard him last night; if not, she would not have done this.
He checked his finger, and the ring she had given him was gone. But there was a note. ’I’m sorry, Alex, but it’s better for you to keep your ring. Thanks for last night, and I promise to never bother you again.’
Alex felt something warm sliding down his cheeks. Was he shedding tears? It was confirmed that Joanna had not heard the things he said last night, which was why she still left.
She loved him and would not have left if she heard him. “Alex, I promised to not interfere, but I think your kid brother has to go before he causes any harm,” Grandpa said bitterly. Alex agreed because they were both on the same page.
“I was thinking the same thing since I escaped the fire. He almost killed all of us, including Joan.”
“I will leave the rest to you since you are still in your right mind,” Grandpa said with mixed feelings. He knew that Alex loved Joan, but the fact that they were separated disturbed him.
After ending the call, Alex summoned the domestic workers. “Where is madam?” He didn’t even care that he was just in his boxers, being the first time, he appeared in front of them like that.
All he needed was a trace of where she could be to know where to begin his search for her.
’Joan, why didn’t you wait for me to wake up? I would have clarified everything,’ he kept saying to himself, regret seething in his blood.
He always knew he liked her but never thought he would love her this much. Waking up without that Angel by his side was heartbreaking, making him wonder how he had been away from her.
The young maids were secretly drooling over his physique, but Betty was concerned about where all this was going.
“Sir, you had us pack her things last night. She left with Jack,” she explained, at the same time Jack walked through the entrance door, awed to see his boss in just his boxers approaching him with a disgruntled expression.
“Jack, where is she?”
Jack feared a little but remembered that last night when he arrived with madam, Ike informed him about the divorce, instructing him to take Madam wherever she wanted.
If things go wrong, then Ike would be the one to be blamed. “She left with Violet. They had me drop them at the airport,” he explained in a panic voice. Alex bit his lower lip and demanded.
“I need their flight information.”
Jack was confused because he wasn’t allowed to snoop around the madam’s business unless he was instructed to do so. “I’m sorry, but I didn’t get it.”
Alex couldn’t blame them. All instructions had been pre-arranged by him because he had no idea how difficult it would be to live without Joanna since he was used to living alone before.
He tried to track Joanna’s phone but kept losing the signal after a short time, so he called Aiden on the phone. “Aiden, help me track my wife.”
As soon as he ended the call, he dialed Dario’s number. “Track my wife. I want to know where she is.”
Good thing Dario knew his identity as he did not even have time to disguise the voice. He ran back upstairs to put on some clothes, and just like that, he left the house with Alex, going first to Joanna’s mom and realizing the middle-aged woman had no idea her daughter had left.
“Alex, how are you today? Do you want me to cook for you? Why didn’t you come with Joan?”
Alex forced a smile, not wanting to scare her. “Monica, I just came to see that you are fine. I’m leaving now.”
Monica wished he would stay longer, but then again, these young folks had lots of work to do, so she did not stop him.
As Ike drove aimlessly through the city, Alex’s phone rang. It was Aiden. “Alex, she can’t be tracked. What happened? It’s the same with Violet.”
The information gave Alex hope. The fact that Violet was with Joanna relieved him slightly of his fears.
“You have to keep trying. I was a jerk and told her I wanted a divorce, but I regretted, except it was too late. She left before I woke up.”
“Did you…have sex with her?” Aiden asked teasingly. Alex’s teeth gritted together. “Does it matter?”
The answer was a confirmation of what Aiden wanted to hear. “So, you admit it now? You are in love with her?”
Guilt welled up in Alex’s heart for not admitting it all this while. “Yes, I love her, so please help me find her.”
Aiden smiled at the end of the line. “Don’t worry. For as long as she remains on planet earth, we shall find her.”
Alex had hope, but as they continued the search, a month passed, and he was in a club with Aiden, drinking his sorrows away.
Due to the news, Aiden returned to be by his side, and every day, Alex would insist they go to the club whenever their searches proved unsuccessful.
He had lost a lot of weight, leaving the management of the company in the hands of Edmund.
“Alex, please have faith. We will find her,” Aiden assured him as he signaled the waiters to return the untouched bottles of alcohol, but before their hand reached it, Alex took it from there.
“Don’t touch it,” he slurred, about to gulp it down when his phone rang.
Ever since Joanna’s disappearance, his phone lines had always been active, and he had tried his best to keep it from Monica and the media.
Looking at the caller ID, it was a strange number. A grimace squeezed his face before he answered the call. “What?”
A familiar female voice sounded at the end of the line. “Alex, it’s me, Violet. I’m at a Miami jail, but you have to help Joan.”
Chapter 167: Chapter 167 – Joan is pregnant
A month ago, Joanna woke up with aches all over, and her walls felt sore. With the strong arm wrapped around her, it didn’t take long for her to remember their passionate night.
Alex was wild in the beginning, gentle mid-way, but turned beastly towards the end; she couldn’t match his energy.
However, she vividly remembered the conditions attached to this arrangement. Joanna had not researched the divorce proceedings due to her hope of things getting better between them, so last night was like a blow to her.
She had no idea that the procedure was supposed to be finalized in court.
Still, she could not blame Alex after he had warned her from the beginning, only grateful for his honesty.
Facing him as he slept beside her, his features were soft and attractive. She planted a kiss on his lips as her hand gently massaged her stomach.
“God, please make me pregnant, and I promise not to be a bitch to use it against him. On the contrary, I will be far away from him,” Joanna silently prayed before gently getting off the bed.
After a quick shower, she put on some clothes and called Violet on the phone. The latter was preparing for work before hearing Joanna’s sad words.
“I signed the divorce papers, V. I just want to be away from him for a while.”
Violet was silent for a while, but when she spoke, Joanna was stunned. “Mention where. I’m coming with you.” She always felt that Joanna was weak and needed to be protected.
If Joanna and Alex were divorced, then she was certain that Joanna would be without bodyguards.
“You’ll do that for me?” Joanna was stunned, thanking her stars for meeting Violet in Logan’s house that day.
“Come on, I’ve been working for years without a leave. My brother is there, so I don’t think the company would be lacking, but who would take care of yours?”
Joanna remembered her conversation with Alex and smiled. “Don’t worry. It’s in safe hands.”
“And your mom?”
A tear slid down Joanna’s cheek, but she quickly wiped them. “I won’t tell her now. Not until I’m ready to return. If need be, I will have you bring her.”
Violet went silent again before responding. “Alright. I will see you in a bit.”
Joanna refused. “No. I will come meet you.” She had in mind to pack a few things, but when she went downstairs, her clothes were already packed.
Something died inside of her. “Why did you pack my bags?”
Betty was almost in tears. “Sir had me pack it when he returned last night before setting up the dinner.”
Was it so bad that Alex was so eager to get rid of her? Joanna tasted bitterness in her mouth but smiled through it. “Thank you.”
She got it wrong thinking he would ever feel anything for her. Jack helped her to the car and informed her.
“Sir left a message for me to take you wherever you want.”
Joanna forced a smile and instructed. “I will go meet Violet before the airport, but first, there is something I need to do.”
She hastened back to the house and picking up the divorce papers from where she left them earlier, she dropped it beside Alex before removing her ring and adding to it.
Then she noticed her ring on Alex’s finger and removed it, but turning around and heading back to the car.
Throughout the drive, her heart felt heavy. She hoped to never see Alex again until she had completely gotten over him.
As soon as she saw Violet, the two embraced affectionately. “I can’t believe it’s happening. Joan, I’m so sorry,” she cooed in Joanna’s ear; the latter smiled.
“It’s nothing, V. I saw it coming.”
She pulled Violet to the side away from Jack and whispered to her. “V, I begged Alex to have sex with me last night, and I hope I’m carrying his child. I don’t want him to find me to claim it or think I will use it to force him to be with me.”
Violet was stunned by the news. “Wait a minute. You had sex with Alex after the divorce?”
Joanna felt no guilt. This was the price of her unrefuted love. “Yes, but since it’s not confirmed whether I’m pregnant or not, I have to see the world first.”
Violet guessed it was her way of getting Alex off her mind but did not expose her. “Alright. I will let my brother help us disappear without a trace,” she assured Joanna, the latter looked in the direction of the car she brought, but Violet smiled.
“Don’t worry, tell him to take us to the airport.”
Reaching there, Jack drove away, and that was when Violet’s brother, Travis, arrived and drove them to the subway. From there, the pair took flights to London, Paris, and Dubai before settling down in Florida when Joanna began to feel weird.
“You should eat before we explore Miami,” Violet said excitedly, since their next destination was Costa Rica.
Joanna did not seem as excited as before and yawned. “I feel like I need more sleep.”
“You know what? I think we should go to the hospital to have you checked,” Violet suggested, not forgetting the information Joanna gave her about having sex with Alex.
“It’s too early. I will just get the home pregnancy test kit,” Joanna suggested, but Violet did not think it was a good idea.
“If you were fine, then that would be good, but you don’t look okay, so come on, let’s go to the hospital.”
Joanna did not refuse as the two went to the hospital and were met with the happy news.
“You are pregnant,” the doctor announced after receiving the lab results. Excitement brewed in Joanna’s mind as she hugged Violet tightly. When the two walked out of the hospital, a familiar person saw them.
“I just saw Joan in the hospital with her maid of honor. They went to the gynecological side.” At the end of the line, Colton was curious.
“Which hospital?”
Tess smiled and replied. “They already left, and maybe, for us moving here was a good thing. I’m just wondering why Alex isn’t here. Let me follow them.”
Tess saw the women alight from a taxi and enter a restaurant as she heard Violet placing the order.
“Give us something healthy and suitable for pregnant women.” The color drained from Tess’s face instantly, as she texted her brother. ’Joan is pregnant. I’m going to help her get rid of it.’
Chapter 168: Chapter 168 – I know your little secret
Colton had just arrived at his station when he received a text message from his sister. He instantly dialed her number.
“Tess, what is wrong with you? Are you out of your mind?” They both wanted the same things but he realized his sister was losing her mind.
“Dion told me that Alex was going to divorce Joan and marry me, but now, the bitch is pregnant and she’s not wearing her ring. Alex must have divorced her, but why didn’t he get in touch like he promised? Do you think he would still marry me if he finds out she’s pregnant?”
Tess was wailing on the phone from where she hid to answer the call. How could Joanna be so careless? As far as she was concerned, Joanna would do anything to stay in the marriage since she was the one who proposed to Alex.
“Look, you don’t know exactly what happened, so don’t do anything stupid,” Colton warned but Tess was far from listening.
“I’m not going to kill her. Just to get rid of the baby,” Tess smiled, but Colton disagreed.
“No. The baby is innocent. Let me find Joan and talk things out with her. If she doesn’t have her ring, then maybe she finally divorced Alex. I could raise the baby as mine,” he assured in an attempt to talk her out of it, but a jealous bitch was just too hard to convince.
“No. Alex would never leave her if he finds out about the baby.”
“And you would not be alive to marry him if you kill his child. Logan speculates that Alex is Salvador, but even if he isn’t, Salvador’s men are still the protectors of the Kings.”
Colton had just arrived at work and knew that even if he tried, he might not make it in time to save Joanna. The best thing was to talk his sister out of it.
He might be crazy, but not crazy enough to harm an innocent child.
“They won’t kill me if they don’t know,” Tess answered and switched off the phone instantly since her brother was not on her side this time.
By the time she returned to the restaurant, Joanna was walking to the restroom as Violet continued eating her food.
With an evil smirk, she followed Joanna into the female restroom and waited for her by the sink. Joanna came out, and as she was washing her hands, Tess approached her.
“Hello,” she asked. Joanna smiled with a confused expression. “Do I know you?”
“No, but I was at your wedding,” Tess replied. Joanna wiped her hands with a towel and shrugged. “Good to know.” There were a lot of people at her wedding, most of whom she didn’t know.
As she was about to leave the restroom, Tess approached her. “I actually wanted to inform you that Alex is mine.”
Joanna smiled, probably tired of hearing that bullshit, and at this moment, she was happy to be divorced.
“Well then, you can have him.”
Tess was not satisfied with the answer and asked her. “Alex promised to marry me after divorcing you but still hasn’t made a move.”
As much as Joanna hated it, her mind traveled to the past, and a name came to mind. “Let me guess. You must be Dion.” It felt selfishly good to hear that Alex hadn’t moved on but if this was the bitch he was replacing her with, then he wasn’t as smart as she thought he was.
Confusion clouded Tess’s mind as she realized she was a step ahead because Joanna had no idea what Dion looked like and who she was to Alex.
Could that mean the marriage was all a sham? If that be the case, then Alex should be grateful to her for helping to get rid of the unwanted baby, right?
“Yeah, you got that right, but sadly, I know your little secret, and I would be damned before you have Alex’s child.”
Joanna panicked at that moment. “What are you talking about?” Fear registered in her eyes as Tess slapped her hard on the face.
“How dare you get pregnant in a contract marriage?” She was not sure and waited for Joan to deny it, but when she didn’t, it confirmed all the rumors spread at the wedding.
Joanna wanted to retaliate, but for the sake of her unborn child, she preferred not to engage in a fight, especially when she and Alex were divorced.
Fighting for him would just be useless so she aimed for the door but as she reached it, Tess had already calculated her move, blocking Joanna’s leg with hers.
Joanna did not have time to save herself before her head hit the cabinet, at the same time a shrill tore from her throat, as her waist hit the floor painfully, she fell unconscious.
Fear settled in Tess’s eyes. “Is she that fragile? I didn’t even do anything.” Before she could say anything, Violet had already opened the restroom door and seeing Joanna on the floor, her heart sank.
“Joan,” she took out her phone and called the emergency service as Tess tried to escape, but Violet pulled her hair harshly.
“What the hell happened to her?” She asked after making the report.
Not prepared for this, Tess could not come up with an excuse. “I don’t know. She just screamed and fell.”
Violet did not take it kindly, sending a slap to Tess’s face. If Tess had even lied that Joanna slipped and fell, Violet would not have suspected anything, but saying she saw nothing made her the culprit.
“I swear to God that if anything happens to her or the baby, I would rip you limb by limb,” Violet slapped Tess again, at the same time Joanna regained partial consciousness.
“V,” Joanna called out. Violet pushed Tess away violently and lifted and positioned Joanna in her arms. “The emergency service will be here soon. Just save your breath. Everything will be fine,” she assured Joanna but her hopes were destroyed when she saw the crimson liquid on the floor.
Also, her hand which she held Joanna’s head shook, tainted with blood. “No,” she panicked as Joanna spoke in almost a whisper.
“She’s Dion, the woman Alex left me for. She…she wants my baby dead.”
Chapter 169: Chapter 169 – Trust me, Violet, that woman isn’t Dion
Joanna’s subconscious mind could not let Tess go for what she did to her baby, so after exposing the culprit, she fell unconscious again, right after the words left her mouth.
Violet glared at Tess. “You fucking bitch. You did this.” She was ready to commit murder, not caring if she went to jail for it.
The bitch touched her best friend, and no one could stop her from getting even.
Luckily, the emergency services arrived, but Violet took another look at Tess before following them to the hospital.
“I will make you pay,” she vowed.
As Joanna was wheeled to the emergency room, Violet stayed at the door, but that was when she saw a man dressed in a doctor’s coat walking towards the emergency room with no other person than the fool who caused the incident.
She felt that the doctor looked familiar but could not remember where she saw him, especially when his face was covered with a surgical mask, but those eyes were so familiar.
“Tess, wait for me,” he said before rushing away. The moment Tess’s eyes met with that of Violet, she tried to escape, but Violet wouldn’t let her.
“Not so fast, bitch.” With just a kick, Tess was on the floor as Violet got on top of her. The beatings were terrible as Tess kept screaming.
After causing the accident, the only person she could trust to help her was her brother, and she made the call after the ambulance left.
Colton was greatly upset. “Tess, how could you? Even if Joan is divorced, she’s still an ex of the Kings, and they won’t watch her getting hurt. You should have listened to me,” Colton spoke bitterly on the phone.
“I know, but please help me,” she pleaded. Colton sighed. She was still his only sister, so he had to protect her.
“Alright, get to my office this minute.”
Tess drove to the hospital with the speed of lightning, and Colton arranged for the ambulance to bring Joanna to the hospital where he worked.
Tess arrived, but they didn’t have time to talk, as he was already prepared for surgery. With the theatre doors closed, he had no idea of what Violet was doing to his precious sister.
“Help, call the cops,” Tess’s painful screams echoed through the hospital walls. Security came to separate them, and with Tess’s injuries of a broken nose, teeth, black eye, and whatnot, Violet was arrested for assault and taken to the station for questioning.
However, since she had no proof of Tess causing Joanna’s condition and with Joanna being in a comma, Tess was not arrested after denying all the charges labeled against her at the hospital.
Violet felt injustice for the first time in her life, and her family’s connection did not reach Miami. As such, she could only call one person, since it was his fault that all this happened.
“I want to talk to my lawyer,” she demanded, and with it being her right, she was given the chance to make the call.
Well, she called someone in a bigger position than a lawyer, but his irritable voice scared her a little. “What?”
“Alex, it’s me, Violet. I’m at a Miami jail, but you have to help Joan.” Alex’s hand holding the phone shook.
“Miami? Jail? What are you talking about?” Both Violet and Joanna had changed their contact numbers, making it impossible for Alex to reach them, but Violet took a deep breath and explained everything.
Alex was furious. “Trust me, Violet, that woman isn’t Dion. Dion is my sister. It must be Mabel or whatever her name was. Don’t worry. I will send Aiden to come and get you out.”
Violet knew she did the right thing, though Joanna would be upset. Only Alex was powerful enough to avenge Joanna.
“Aiden, she’s pregnant, but the bitch attacked her.”
The effects of the alcohol had cleared from his eyes due to the news, and he rushed out of the club to his car with Aiden following him.
“Alex, you have to tell me something.”
Alex sat in the car and ordered Ike. “To the airport.” After that, he explained everything to Aiden, just as Violet informed him.
“Alex, I hope you’ll allow me to kill the bitch. There was nothing on her when you told us to investigate her, except that she was a nurse. There were no childhood reports,” Aiden recalled.
Alex regretted not digging further by then. “You are right. I should have known she was an imposter. There’s no way a woman like that would have saved my sister.”
“How could she even use your sister’s name to hurt your wife?” Aiden thought aloud. Alex was furious.
“The more reason why she’s an imposter.” He called the head security at Dion’s safehouse immediately.
“Don’t let Mabel or whatever her name is onto my property. If you see her around, arrest her and let me know. Secondly, I want you to review all the footages of the days she visited my sister. Report any discrepancies.”
“Yes, sir,” the chief security reported. Alex called Dario. “Send some men to Miami to protect my wife. I will send you her location.”
After putting everything in order, the last call was to Edmund. “I hope your assistant is doing a good job because I’m going to Miami and have no idea when I would return.”
Edmund was dizzy from the pressure of the news. His boss was constantly absent ever since his wife went missing, leaving all the work to him, but Edmund hoped that once things settled, he could take a full month leave.
“Don’t worry, sir, the company is in safe hands.”
“And you shall be rewarded for your hard work,” Alex added before ending the call.
As they reached the airport, his pilot was already waiting, and as eager as he was to see Joan again, Aiden was also eager to see Violet.
After three hours of anxiety, Alex arrived at Miami, and he and his best friend parted ways.
Salvador’s men had already arrived ahead of time, creating panic at the hospital before Alex’s arrival, but the news he heard crippled him and sent him to his knees.
Chapter 170: Chapter 170 – Just tell me that my wife is fine
Alex was excited to be reunited with his wife, though her face was pale. He rushed to her side and kissed her on the lips, but there was no response, in contrast to the woman who demanded sex that night.
It saddened his heart to see her this way, and it was all because of him. However, if Mabel or whatever her name was had not attacked Joanna, would Violet have gotten in touch with him?
Well, it was still not a good enough reason for Joanna to be in this state. Alex knew he would have found her somehow even if the accident had not happened.
He spent so much time staring at her and only got distracted by the doctor’s words.
“We were caught between saving her life or that of the baby,” the doctor announced. Colton had left after the surgery to take care of his sister, whom he had secretly moved to another hospital to hide her from Alex.
Colton had been trying to locate Logan to have him take care of Violet on his behalf, but sadly, he couldn’t reach him.
The next option was to hire assassins to take care of Violet as soon as she was out of police custody, but who knew that Alex would be here.
This was the first time he made a direct appearance with Salvador’s men, so did it mean he no longer wanted to hide?
Colton was smart enough to leave the moment the first batch of Salvador’s men arrived, but now, he was confused about the relationship between Joanna and Alex.
She wasn’t wearing the ring when he operated on her, so he thought she and Alex must have gotten a divorce and gave her special medications he had prepared to help her recover from her memory loss.
He was hoping for Joanna to wake up and recognize him so he could sneak her away, but things were complicated now, forcing him to leave matters in the hands of his fellow doctor.
Alex was hoping to reunite with his pregnant wife, only to be hit with this heart-breaking news. “Just tell me that my wife is fine,” Alex growled, his glare on the doctor making her shiver.
She stammered, but there was no way she could hide the truth. Well, not the entire truth. “We had to induce a coma, but we couldn’t save the baby,” she explained, leaving out the part that Colton insisted the baby might be deformed if they saved it.
“What did you say?” Alex’s eyes were so red, the doctor feared him more. If only he hadn’t been so exhausted and slept so much, Joanna would not have left before he woke up, and they would have resolved matters amicably.
None of this would have happened. Alex felt strongly that something was wrong, but Violet had told her what Joanna said. That evil woman wanted their baby dead.
“I’m afraid we couldn’t save the baby,” the doctor said. Alex shook his head, staring at the bandage around Joanna’s head.
“It looks to me like it was a head injury, so how was the baby affected?” His demand for answers made the doctor uncomfortable.
“Doctor Colton can explain it better,” she blurted out. Alex felt his fingers shiver. For someone who wanted Joanna for himself, Colton could have indeed gotten rid of their child.
“Colton did the surgery?” He asked dangerously. The doctor was sweating profusely but nodded. “Yes, but he has other emergencies.”
“I want his location now,” Alex demanded. If Colton intentionally got rid of Alex’s child, then he had to pay for it.
Not only did Colton touch Alex’s child but also the blood of a King. Everyone involved, including their families, would have to pay.
“I…I don’t know, sir. He’s new in town, and I don’t even know where he lives,” the doctor replied. Alex scoffed and sent a text message to Dario.
’Look out the airports, subways, everywhere, and make sure Doctor Colton doesn’t escape. I want him alive, but you can check all the hospitals too.’
’On it,’ Dario responded through text message. Alex took a deep breath and asked the doctor. “When will she be out?”
He needed to ask Joanna some questions to confirm his suspicions, but after this moment, he was determined to never leave her side.
Perhaps, he would just have to move Dion to the mansion since he can’t find her savior. Grandpa and Logan would have to know Dion was alive for all the threats against his wife to stop.
Alex was so heartbroken that he wanted to replace Joanna on the hospital bed. If only he could take her place and carry all her pain as his.
“A few days at most. We induced the coma to save her because her womb had already suffered severe damage from a fire incident before,” the doctor revealed. Alex froze instantly.
“What do you mean by that?” He asked, feeling his body shiver. Could Joan be the one?
The doctor feared this man and thought it best to bring out the details of everything she could not tell Colton in the operating room.
“I worked in a Manhattan hospital some years ago and operated on this lady. She was quite young by then and had a stab in her lower abdomen when she was brought by the paramedics. The stab affected her womb,” he explained. Alex went numb, guilt welling up in his heart for all the torture he put Joanna through.
The doctor continued to explain. “I wasn’t sure at first, so I requested her medical records when I saw the change in her last name, but she’s the one. I’m sorry, but things were more complicated than they were supposed to be because of that. She survived a fire but was stabbed after. Her womb was affected by that stab.”
Alex sunk to the floor, the news crippling. He asked Monica when he suspected Joanna must have been in the fire, but she showed no signs of knowing anything.
About to call Monica, his phone beeped and he saw a video from his chief security at Dion’s safe house. His expression was terrible.
