“Yes, she did, but Alex is married now.” She had given up after all the events of the wedding, until her brother brought it up again.

“I just found out that Alex would do whatever her sister wants, including divorcing Joanna if she asked. From everything I gathered from the wedding, I feel that Alex married Joanna for his inheritance and vice versa.”
