My Wife Is A Hacker Chapter 3271-3275
Chapter 3271
“Don’t worry about the stock price,” Lawrence said quietly, his voice full of hidden meaning. “Keep going with the plan like we talked about.” “But if we do that, our company might go bankrupt,” Ian said. He was feeling really confused and asked himself, ‘Is this all really worth it? Even if we pull it off, without the company, we can’t keep our foothold here in San Joto. Does that mean we have to leave?’ “Just do it,” Lawrence told Ian, shooting him a cold glance.
Ian replied, “Yes, sir.” He felt a chill and didn’t dare to say more.
After Ian left, Lawrence had a sharp look in his eyes. He thought to himself, ‘If things really go south, I’m ready to leave everything in San Joto behind..

As the day turned into evening after a busy day, Nicole, Patricia, and Lulu were leaving work, chatting as they walked.
Suddenly, someone called out, Patricia,” making them all turn around.
Seeing Ellar, Patricia asked in surprise, ‘ What brings you here?”
Nicole knew about Patricia and Ellar, but Patricia hadn’t told anyone else. She didn’t want to make a fuss and was more focused on protecting Nicole’s safety.
“I came to pick you up,” Ellar said like it was the most normal thing.
“You didn’t have to; I can get home myself,” Patricia said, trying to keep her distance.
Eliar didn’t catch her hint and said, sounding a bit upset, “Since you said yes to marrying me, I haven’t seen you. I’ve started to wonder if it was all a dream.” “What?!” Lulu was shocked. ‘Wow! When did this happen? Why didn’t I know?’
Patricia rolled her eyes at Ellar, but knew her secret was out. She told Lulu,” I was going to tell you once everything was sorted.”
Ellar ruffled his hair, looking sorry for himself. “But I miss you when we’re not together.”
When Lulu realized Patricia and Ellar were engaged and hadn’t told anyone, she laughed and said, “You two should go out. Jared’s here for Nicole; she’ll be fine. Work’s over for today.” She nudged Patricia toward Ellar.
Seeing Nicole wasn’t surprised, Lulu figured Nicole knew about the engagement. She let Ellar take Patricia away so she could ask Nicole for the details.
“Hey,” Patricia said, blushing, as she gave Lulu a look.
“Just go, don’t be shy,” Lulu said, waving them off, urging Ellar to take Patricia.
“Okay, we’re going,” Ellar said with a smile, taking Patricia’s hand.
“And they’re off,” Lulu said, wrapping an arm around Nicole’s and smiling,” Now, spill the beans. What’s their story?”
Lulu had been caught off guard as she had no idea the two had made such a huge leap.
Nicole shared, “It’s simple. Ellar proposed to Patricia, and she said yes. She’s just been staying with US to help me out, so she wanted to keep it quiet for a while.” “Oh…” Lulu realized, ‘So Ellar planned to propose quietly and pulled it off without anyone knowing.’
Nicole shook her head, smiling at Lulu’s curiosity, and said, “Enough gossip. Spencer’s here for you. Time to head home.” “Okay, see ya!” Lulu said, spotting spencer and Jared, and walked over to Spencer’s car.
Chapter 3272
Nicole walked over to where Jared had parked his car. Jared smiled affectionately and opened the door for her, saying, “Hop in.”
Once inside, Nicole sank into the seat with a deep sigh. “Finally, a moment to relax.” “You look worn out,” Jared noted, concerned.
“I’m okay,” she said, leaning against Jared. It wasn’t the work that was tiring, but rather the stress from dealing with Lawrence that had been weighing on her. Now, in the quiet of the car, she felt a sense of relief.
Jared smiled gently, “Soon, you’ll get to relax for real.”
He knew exactly what she was going through. They just had to handle the situation with Lawrence, and then all this stress would be behind them.
Nicole nodded as she smiled back, feeling a bit more at ease.

Ellar took Patricia to a cozy restaurant. The calm music and charming decor made them feel comfortable right away.
“Let’s sit over here,” Ellar suggested, guiding Patricia to a window table.
Once they ordered, Eliar turned to Patricia, “You’ve been working so much lately. I thought a night out would help you unwind. Don’t stress so much.”
Patricia let out a small sigh. “A call would have been enough, you know. Why come to the office?” “I wanted to see you,” Ellar said, looking a bit upset, “Plus, now that work’s over and Jared’s with Nicole, she’ll be alright.” “I’m not worried about Nicole. It’s just that I think we should keep things between US a bit more private for now,” Patricia tried to explain.
Ell ar firmly disagreed, “No, we’re together and shouldn’t hide it. Are you having doubts?” His stance was clear; he saw no reason to hide their relationship, feeling insecure about Patricia’s hesitance.
Patricia couldn’t help but smile, a mix of amusement and exasperation in her gaze. “What are you even saying?”
Ellar gave a nervous laugh, scratching his head. “Just making sure you’re okay with US. I get worried when I don’t see you.” “Let’s just eat,” Patricia said with a mock stern look, making Ellar seem almost pitiful.
“Alright, let’s enjoy the meal,” Ellar agreed, cheerfully offering Patricia some of her favorites.
They spent the meal talking and laughing, Ellar appearing utterly satisfied.
Patricia watched him, her heart filling with a gentle happiness, her smile hidden but genuine.

The next day, the sun was shining brightly when Patricia walked into Nicole’s office early in the morning. “Ms. Riddle, Lawrence hasn’t stopped. It seems he hasn’t noticed that we’re onto him.” “So, he’s going ahead with his plan,” Lulu said, surprised. Nicole had talked about turning his plans against him, so if Lawrence kept this up, he’d only be setting himself back.
“It seems so. And with Mr. Johnston pushing him, I think he’ll make his move soon,” Patricia explained.
She looked serious. Even though they were ready, she knew they had to be careful.
Nicole thought for a moment, ‘Jared is pushing hard, and with Sean’s help, Lawrence’s company won’t last much longer.’
She was surprised Lawrence was still calm, ignoring his own company to focus on her side.
Chapter 3273
A moment later, Nicole said firmly, “Patricia, Lawrence must have another trick up his sleeve. Keep an eye on him.”
Patricia knew what Nicole meant. If Lawrence was putting all his effort into attacking Riddle Corporation, he might have another plan. Following Lawrence’s moves could be risky for Nicole, but it could also be a chance to outmaneuver him.
Patricia paused, unsure, thinking, ‘Is it worth the risk to Nicole for this chance?’
Nicole saw Patricia’s worry and tried to ease it, “We know what he’s planning; it’ll be okay. If we pass this up, we might not get another chance.” “But…” Patricia was still hesitant.
Nicole gave her a reassuring smile. “No ‘buts.’ You’ll be right there with me, won’t you?”
With Patricia by her side, they had the upper hand since they knew Lawrence’s plans and he didn’t know theirs. This made their position stronger.
Patricia nodded, feeling a bit more convinced. ‘”Got it.” “Then be careful,” Lulu added, unable to hide her concern despite Nicole’s confidence.
“Don’t worry,” Nicole said with a comforting smile.
After deciding on their course, Nicole told Lulu, “Keep up the work you’ve been doing. We should see the outcome soon.” “Okay,” Lulu replied, “I’m on it.” “Great,” Nicole said, trusting Lulu to handle things.
Then she looked at Patricia. “Just watch Lawrence closely.” “Don’t worry, Ms. Riddle,” Patricia said, her determination clear.
Ready to face the risk, they knew they had to make it count, and Patricia was committed to ensuring Nicole’s safety.
With their plan set, Lulu and Patricia left Nicole’s office.
Alone, Nicole’s focus sharpened, ready for what was to come.

In Jared’s office, Max reported with concern, “Mr. Johnston, things are moving forward as expected. Lawrence’s company is on the brink of bankruptcy today. Yet, he hasn’t made a move; it’s uncertain what he’s planning.”
This unusual calm from Lawrence made them wary and suspicious.
“Make sure he doesn’t get a chance to turn things around,” Jared replied, his voice cool and determined.
“Understood.” Max nodded, then shared more news, “Charlie and Doretta have updates too. Lawrence hasn’t made moves in San Joto recently, but there are signs he’s up to something in Mecrounia.”
Jared pondered for a moment before he said, “After losing some people earlier, he’s likely cautious about sending more here. It looks like he’s gearing up for what comes next.” “Does this mean he knows he’s losing here and is planning to pull out of San Joto?” Max asked, puzzled. “Is he ready to give up so easily?” “Even if he doesn’t want to, he’s thinking ahead.” Jared was convinced that Lawrence would prioritize his future prospects over clinging to a losing battle in San Joto.
But Lawrence probably didn’t expect that even if he retreated to Mecrounia, Jared wouldn’t allow him any opportunity for a resurgence.
“Focus on San Joto with Doretta, and send Charlie with a team to Mecrounia,” Jared instructed firmly.
“Got it.” Max left to execute the orders.
Jared’s strategy was to preempt Lawrence’s retreat with measures already in place in Mecrounia.

Later, under the bright afternoon sun, Nicole was in her office, lost in thought on her couch.
The sound of knocking broke her reverie. Her secretary entered, saying,” Ms. Riddle, there’s an anonymous letter for you.” “Bring it over,” Nicole responded calmly, ready to see what the letter contained.
Chapter 3274
“Yes, Ms. Riddle.” the secretary handed the mail to Nicole and then left the room.
Nicole looked at the familiar envelope and shook her head slightly, thinking, ‘He has now learned to play mysterious, sending me express mails everytime.’
Upon opening it and seeing the contents, Nicole frowned slightly.
Unable to help herself, Nicole sent a message asking, [Where did you get this information?] [The information is accurate. Be prepared,] the person replied with a cautionary note but did not answer Nicole’s question directly.
Sighing, Nicole responded, [Thanks.] [Take care,] the person cautioned Nicole.
With a slight smile, Nicole put away her phone and, after a moment of contemplation, made a call to Doretta.
“Nicole,” Doretta sounded puzzled, “Is something wrong?” “Lawrence might make a move in the next few days. I hope you and Charlie can support me in capturing him this time,” Nicole stated directly.
“I can help you, but…” Doretta hesitated before continuing, “Charlie went to Mecrounia. Mr. Johnston has given him a task.”
Before leaving, Charlie had indeed instructed her to keep an eye on Lawrence and to protect Nicole as well.
“Charlie went to Mecrounia,” Nicole muttered under her breath. She figured Jared must have sent Charlie to Lawrence’s turf, likely having received some information and made arrangements accordingly.
“Nicole, do you know something?” Doretta probed, curious about Nicole’s seemingly unsurprised reaction to Charlie’s sudden departure.
Nicole responded, “Yes, I’ve received some information, which is why I was hoping you and Charlie could help.” She was also worried because, although Patricia could protect her, focusing solely on her safety meant neglecting other tasks.
“I can handle it, leave it to me,” Doretta assured cautiously, thinking that since she was the only one left in San Joto, she had to take on this responsibility.
“Alright, come see me after work, and we’ll discuss the details,” Nicole told Doretta.
“Okay,” Doretta agreed.
After hanging up, Nicole bit her lip slightly, thinking, ‘Charlie went to Mecrounia…’
As dusk approached and Nicole was just about to leave work, she suddenly received a call.
“Are you off work?” came Cindy’s voice.
“I was just about to leave. What’s up?” Nicole asked.
“Oh, Martin and I wanted to invite you guys for dinner. If you’re free, could you come? Is that okay?” Cindy asked.
Nicole hesitated. She had arranged to meet with Doretta and probably couldn’t meet Cindy and Martin.
Noticing Nicole’s hesitation, Cindy asked, Do you have other plans?” “Something came up. Let’s plan for another day, and I’ll treat you then,” Nicole explained honestly.
She didn’t want to disappoint Cindy and Martin, but the tasks she had to attend to were urgent, so she didn’t want to delay.
“Okay. Call US when you’re free,” Cindy agreed.
“Mm, will do,” Nicole said.
After hanging up, Nicole noticed that the company’s staff had already left.
She bit her lip slightly, thinking, ‘Doretta should be here by now.’
Sure enough, someone knocked on the door a moment later.
“Come in,” Nicole called out.
Doretta opened the door and said, “I came up after seeing everyone else leave.”
Chapter 3275
“Sit down, let’s talk,” Nicole gestured to Doretta.
Once seated on the couch, Nicole began, “It seems Lawrence doesn’t care about his company anymore. Instead, he has set his sights on Riddle Corporation, and we’ve also discovered that he had tampered with Riddle Corporation before…”
After explaining the situation in detail, Nicole looked at Doretta and said, “I think he will try to strike at Riddle Corporation. If Patricia is protecting me, she won’t be able to cover everything, so I need your covert support.” “Understood. What do you need me to do?” “Lawrence probably doesn’t know you’re in San Joto, so he won’t be on his guard against you. You’ll have more freedom to move…” “Got it.”
After their discussion, Doretta left Riddle Corporation.
Nicole waited a while before leaving, intending to have her chauffeur take her home. She had Jared to pick up Nolan and Lana first because she needed to meet Doretta.
While she was waiting for her car, another vehicle pulled up nearby, and two men got out.
Nicole instinctively moved back, keeping a cautious eye on the approaching men.
They stopped a short distance from her and addressed her with a name from her past, the time when she had lost her memories.
“Niki, let’s not make this hard for either of US. Just come with US, okay?”
Recognizing them as Lawrence’s people, who had probably come from Mecrounia, Nicole realized they didn’t know about the recent developments here. That’s why they used the name “Niki.” “You’re mistaken. I’m Nicole, not Niki,” Nicole said calmly, yet firmly, to the two men.
Inside, she was quickly thinking through her options. People sent by Lawrence were no amateurs; they’d know too much about her to let her simply walk away.
“Please, just get in the car,” they said again, their tone firmer this time.
Nicole clenched her teeth secretly. She knew escaping now would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible.
One of them hinted, “At a time like this, you should understand,” pausing briefly, “There’s no use waiting. No one’s coming for you.”
Realizing the depth of her situation, Nicole saw how well Lawrence had played his cards. They had thought they were watching him, yet he was just as informed about their actions.
The timing, just after Doretta’s departure, wasn’t a coincidence. Lawrence had been waiting for the perfect moment, proving his strategic patience.
Nicole’s calm deepened, as she recognized this move as classic Lawrence – always thinking ahead, undeterred by what others did against him.
Facing the inevitable, Nicole conceded, “It looks like I don’t have much choice.” She followed them, guessing Lawrence wouldn’t risk her life just yet if he was making a move like this.
As the car blended into the traffic, a lone figure in the shadows noted its departure.
Soon, Nicole found herself at Lawrence’s villa, pondering what he had planned amid this silent chess game between them.
In the living room, Nicole calmly faced Lawrence, saying, “I never imagined we’d meet under these circumstances.” “Nor did I want this, but the situation demands it. After all, Jared isn’t planning on
letting me get away unscathed,” Lawrence admitted frankly, getting straight to the point.
