“What did he pay you that much for?” someone asked. “Must’ve been illegal. I saw on the news, drug dealers hiring people to move stuff for big cash. Doesn’t matter if you didn’t know—once you take the money, you’re part of it. Don’t risk your life for some quick cash.”

The man waved dismissively and scoffed. “Come on, I’m not that dumb. As soon as I got the stuff, I took photos.” He smirked with a sleazy look. “You wouldn’t believe what was inside.”

His friend leaned in, curious. “Don’t keep us guessing—what was it?”

“Nothing big,” he teased. “Just some—”
