“Ron is the only one who would believe that you love him.” Carl took a step back. He wore an amused look on his face the entire time but it was clear that there was nothing but stark disdain in his eyes as he looked at the mistress. “Don’t look at me like that. I’ve seen countless types of women and you’re the type that | hate the most.”

Willow froze and did not know how to respond.

Carl ignored her, then he turned around and went toward the parking lot. Anne had brought the two children to her car.

Ron, on the other hand, was carried into Carl’s car.

Two of his bodyguards carried him and shoved him into the backseat.

Carl was not in any particular hurry to leave. As he slowly approached his car, he shot a casual glance at a stationary vehicle parked nearby.

He made eye contact with Sherry through the car windows.
