Sherry’s gaze shifted, but did not make a noise.

Both Matthew and Janine reacted poorly and their guilt made them lower their heads together.

“Though | hope that the two of you won’t appear before Sherry again. Or else I’ll be mad,” John said to them with frosty eyes. Sherry’s eyes gleamed.

Something must have gotten wrong with the man for defending her in front of her parents.

Matthew answered immediately, “I understand. We won’t be disturbing Sherry anymore.”

Janine remained awkward and quiet, and when Matthew was done talking, she followed him out of the room. The two of them soon disappeared beyond the gates.

Sherry got up and planned to go back to Caprice.
