furrowing her brow with concern.

Damien’s lips curved into a faint smile as he gazed affectionately at the woman on his screen. “How are the strawberries?”

Cherise popped another strawberry into her mouth, savoring it. “They’re quite delicious.”

“If you like them, I’ll tell Otto to get some more for you.”

“Don’t change the subject,” Cherise huffed, her crystal-clear eyes glaring at him. “We’re talking about Lennon. Don’t think I won’t notice if you try to dodge the topic.”
