“Yes,” Otto Walkins replied honestly. “My boss doesn’t have many friends. Over the years, only Mr. Belcourt has remained steadfast by his side.”

Colin was taken aback. The bodyguard is surprisingly frank! Is Damien’s lack of social skills such an open secret?

Otto seemed to read Colin’s thoughts and shrugged nonchalantly. “It’s not exactly a secret.”

Colin pursed his lips, thinking about Damien. With his perpetually stern face and aloof demeanor, it wasn’t surprising he didn’t have many friends. Although they looked almost identical, Colin had to admit he was much more likable than Damien.

Turning to look out the car window, Colin mused, “Still, with my current situation… is Lennon here to help me?”

“Not entirely,” Otto responded calmly. “Although Mr. Belcourt did cause a scene at your wedding, he seemed sincere when he approached my boss about this. I don’t think he’s here to make trouble. More likely, he’s seeking some form of atonement.”
