Madeline dared not gamble on Ava’s safety.
She glanced around. There were passing vehicles but no passersby. Even if there were passersby, it was not easy to ask for help.

The man suddenly turned his face when he saw Naya. The man’s red eyes fell on Naya’s arrogant face, and Naya was startled by those eyes. When she was in a trance, the man rushed in front of her without her noticing. Then, the man raised his hand and slapped Naya’s face heavily.

“Ah!” Naya screamed in pain and raised her hand to cover her cheek. Then, she widened her eyes to look at the man in astonishment before taking two steps back in horror.
“W-Who are you? Why did you slap me? Nurse! Where’s the nurse? How can you let just anyone into the VIP ward?” Naya shouted toward the door of the ward.
“Naya, what’s the matter? What happened?” Naya’s mother also came back at this time. She hurried to Naya’s side and looked at the man with red and teary eyes, “W-Who are you? Why are you in my daughter’s ward?”
Upon hearing Naya’s mother’s words, the man was even more emotional. “So, you’re Naya’s mother! You deserve to be slapped too!”
After the man said that, he slapped Naya’s mother as well.

As soon as she finished speaking, she reached out and struck down.

A loud slap could be heard, but the slap landed on Naya’s face instead. She looked at the young man who slapped her in astonishment. “W-Who are you? Why did you slap me?!”
