He chuckled lightly.

“He was pressured into marriage too, but he just hadn’t met the right person yet.”
Then he added with a hint of amusement,
“And then my mom… ran away while she was pregnant with me. My dad was furious.”
“But in the end, they still got married and had me. He says that’s fate.”
