“Renata, Dad is heading back first. You stay here.”

Timothy walked toward his car, stopping beside it before turning to look at his daughter, who had been following closely behind.

Renata understood what her father meant. After hesitating for a moment, she said, “Dad, Landen won’t even look at me. Staying here won’t change anything. The only woman who can get close to him is that tomboy. Even though I’ve swallowed my pride again and again, I still feel ashamed after being rejected and ignored by him so many times.”
