Married At First Sight Chapter 5168
Chapter 5168
To avoid alerting Old Mr. Labbe, Lonen Group deliberately avoided any business dealings with the Johnson and York families. However, it maintained close cooperation with the Qaxun Group.
Qaxun Group was the leading enterprise in Annenburg, X Province—everyone wanted a partnership with them.
Years ago, Old Mr. Labbe and his eldest son, Timothy, personally came to negotiate cooperation. Elora refused outright.
Her reason was simple: Old Mr. Labbe couldn’t truly represent the Labbe Group.
As an acting head, his authority was limited. Many decisions required collective approval, making any cooperation cumbersome and inefficient.
Elora saw no value in working with someone who lacked absolute control.
More importantly, she saw through Old Mr. Labbe’s ruthlessness—and his ambition to use marriage as a means of absorbing Ormond family assets.

You were off and this is all we get? I hope you are feeling better but I really expected twice as much and I just don’t know how many people are as dumb as me and would continue to put up with a couple paragraphs. Thanks you

Totally agree with Teri—the update was delayed by two days, yet we only received two chapters. And now Jennifer—when did they even adopt her? There was no storyline about this in the previous book, but suddenly she’s becoming a new character. On top of that, Sonny is handling two large conglomerates alone, while Titus feels like just a poster boy of the group. And what about Maverick? Did he take over York Corporation or not? Does he become the president while Zachary serves as chairman, like Duncan? There are still so many unanswered questions—honestly, it feels like the author is just dragging out this storyline now.

The author is getting mixed up too, when did Camryn become a master of disguise -wasn’t that Abby? Earlier in the story they mentioned about Rowan’s children the time line didn’t make sense at all because how does Rowan end up with a son older than Belle when he is the youngest and last York to get married? I think the author is forgetting what they wrote before because of the huge timeline jump. I know this isn’t Baxter’s fault but the author of course. But the Airhor got to get the stories straight and I’m really disappointed with the huge gap in the timeline.

The author should go back and review his storyline and make corrections. It reflects poorly on the author.
Glad you are feeling better Baxter.

The author also changed the name of the corporation he brought up.
