“Good,” Alex said. “We’ll take him back to Wildridge Manor this weekend. He can run around freely there.”

Cairo looked up excitedly. “Uncle Trenton, are we really going back to Wildridge Manor this weekend?”

“Yes,” Trenton said. “Your Aunt Lilian will be there, so we’ll all go back together. Don’t you want to go? Your great-grandmother misses you very much.”
