Originally, Alex had planned to drive a sightseeing vehicle himself so he could take her down comfortably, but Aitana refused.

She suggested walking instead.

Even though Wildridge Manor had sightseeing vehicles, she felt they moved too fast. Riding one would mean missing too much of the scenery.

Alex laughed. “If you want to walk, then we’ll walk. I’m just worried you’ll get tired later. Let’s head down first. If you get tired, I’ll call the butler and have him come pick us up.”

Since they had just driven up the mountain, the journey hadn’t felt long at all. Aitana smiled and said, “We both exercise regularly. Walking for a while won’t tire us out.
