Aitana smiled. “I don’t binge-eat. When I’m in a bad mood, I just have a good meal—not until I’m stuffed.”

Alex said confidently, “I work out every day. I won’t let myself gain weight. I’m not even married yet—if I got fat, no girl would like me.”

His words successfully amused Aitana.

They chatted as they ate, and by the end of the meal, Aitana’s mood had lifted significantly.

Afterward, Alex drove her home so she could rest, while he went to Wordisk Garden to check on the progress of his home renovation.
