That left only Yehua to help — which was exactly what Mrs. Legare had been counting on.

First, he said he was thirsty. Yehua helped him sit up and brought him a glass of water. He drank half, then suddenly gagged — and vomited all over the floor.

Thankfully, Yehua reacted fast, jumping back before he got anything on her or the bed.

But the moment Mrs. Legare saw the mess, she clamped a hand over her mouth and dashed out of the room. Just outside, she gagged and ran straight to the bathroom, where she threw up violently.
