Cairo’s eyes lit up instantly. “Dad, are we going to Uncle’s house today? I miss Belle so much! We haven’t been there in forever.”

Now that he was in kindergarten and his parents were busy with work, the butler usually picked him up after school. He played alone at home most days.

He didn’t have many friends his age to play with, so weekends at his uncles’ homes were always the highlight of his week.

Callum said, “It hasn’t been that long, has it? Dad remembers you playing with your brother and sister not too long ago.”

“It has been a long time,” Cairo insisted.

Callum laughed. “Alright, alright, it’s been a long time. Go pack up. Your great-grandmother called—she wants Mom and Dad to take you to Uncle Alex’s house for a couple of days. Grab two sets of clothes. Your uncle doesn’t have anything that fits you.”
