The York Corporation was running steadily, and Zachary had the advantage of eight capable brothers who shared the workload, making sure he never became overwhelmed again.

Before he got married, Zachary often left early and returned late. The heavy responsibilities, constant pressure, sleepless nights, and excessive drinking at business functions had taken a toll on his health.

After marriage, everything changed. He stopped overworking, cut back on late nights, and with Serenity managing his meals and health, the issues he once struggled with gradually faded.

“Let’s go to sleep early and get some good rest,” Zachary said gently.

He didn’t want Serenity lingering on the pain of losing her parents so young.
