“Aitana, ride with Alex,” the old lady suggested warmly, worried about her traveling alone on her scooter. “We can chat along the way.”

Alex quickly added, “After lunch, if you want to go home and rest, I’ll drive you there and bring you back to work in the afternoon. You can pick up your scooter after work.”

Aitana smiled and nodded. “Okay.”

She helped the old lady into the car first, making sure she was seated comfortably before getting in herself.
