“Rowan, come with me to look at houses. I want to buy one,” Alex said suddenly.
Rowan blinked. “Brother, you’re buying a house? You already own plenty. Where this time?”
“I like the area around Wordisk Street. The community there’s great. Let’s check it out—I’m thinking of a big apartment.”
Wordisk Street was only a three-to-five-minute walk from the Pollock family clinic.
Alex was clearly laying the groundwork to pursue someone. Living nearby meant proximity—and opportunity.
Rowan shot him a curious look. “That’s far from our office. If I bought a house there, I’d have to leave at least ten minutes earlier every day for work.”
