Maverick replied, “My mom and I just go wherever she takes us to have fun.”
River smiled and said, “Then Uncle will take you to Ocean World or the zoo. You’ll love it.”
A lot of the rides at the amusement park weren’t suitable for kids that young, so River had no plans to take his nieces and nephews there. Besides, the York family’s old estate already had a large playground. After the baby was born, all the equipment had been replaced with brand-new ones.
Grandma had said the old playground was originally meant for her sons. Now that they were grown, it was time to update everything for the next generation.
“Okay,” Maverick nodded.
The snacks River ordered arrived. He turned to Serenity and said, “Sister-in-law, have some snacks first. Afterward, I’ll take you to my place. I already asked the butler to prepare a bunch of your favorite dishes.”

I feel like writing this story and continuing it properly. Jumping ahead six years with story lines not completed. This is a travesty. I feel like I’ve wasted my time. I’m hoping this is a late April Fool’s Day prank. Baxter – give the author hell. Shame on him/her!!!!
