“How was your meeting with Mr. Jacobs?” asked Miss Felestine to me while we were having coffee together.

And I suddenly remembered all the things that happened when I met him last time.

“W-Well, I don’t think he’s interested in collaborating with us.”

“Huh? But why do you think so? Did he say something?”

I shook my head. “N-No… That’s just my guess. I think he won’t accept our offer.”

“But he accepted it.”
