After feeding it a piece of fresh beef, he turned to his companion and said with a laugh, “Jesse, I spent a lot of time and effort getting this gyrfalcon from Raydon province in Somerland. It comes from the purest bloodline of the king, and its parents once hunted a snow leopard. I a m willing to bet you 100 bucks that my gyrfalcon can kill your ferret in 10 seconds.”
